Either improve your work ethics and lead a successful life or play games, go to parties, and work some horrible menial job that you hate. Up to you. More appropriately let me offer that your college should be advising you on what you need to do in order to get back in. Do you want advice on that or changing your plan entirely? If the latter, then we can't help you based on the OP since you didn't give us any idea what else you might be interested in... | ||

The advice they gave me is to take fall classes and they will determine it based on my fall grades. I don't want to change my plan entirely because I want to still attend school and see what I could do besides Engineering. Thanks illu, I will definitely game and party less...hopefully I have learned my lesson. | ||

If you cant find a passion in academia, then don't bother with academia and get a job etc. If you cant find passion in your job, then its going to be tough shit because everything you get is only going to come out of the effort you put in. One day you will need to find something that you will want to put effort into, even though it is difficult and extremely hard to do. --- Different people have different ways of going about this. I do maths at uni, and in my year i really see some people who just geniunely love maths. They can't get enough of it, and i am sure they will go onto to do phd in maths and then become professors etc. Some people just have a passion to live and survive - they know that they need this degree to move on with life and get a better job, and so they put their ass in and work the hours to get their grades. Some of the foreigners i know get very little financial support, and work their asses off all day for extra jobs, money just to pay for their university and then they work really hard at uni because it is their money that is paying for the degree. Even in your job, if it is a shit, menial job, that pays minimum wage, if you love the job and put in the effort that is what will count. My mate works as an apprentice hairdresser after leaving school, and he gets paid below minimum wage, works rediculous hours but he LOVES hairdressing. He doesn't want to do anything else - this is his life. | ||
