thopol Japan4560 Posts September 06 2010 08:26 GMT #5 In the past 5 years I have played BW by far the most. I used to be big into AoE2 and still play it off and on. I'm actually thinking of getting back into AoK since I can be fucking pro at it without working a lot, which sounds nice after getting buttraped so long in BW. I can't play SC2 anymore (don't know what the fuck happened there...) and I never got that into WC3. I have enjoyed playing supcom and DoW and other new RTS games as well. It's my favorite genre by far and it's fun to see all of the different hooks that get added on.

ShivaN United States933 Posts September 06 2010 08:40 GMT #12 I played a TON of SC and then SC:BW back as a kid/early teen, then I switched over to wc3 when it came out, basically played that through TFT while still occasionally hopping on SC:BW. I still remember back in the day playing on korean servers like Brain and watching early VODs of the BW proscene. One in particular that I remember vividly because I watched it so much. It was an early FPVOD of Boxer playing some zerg on LT. He was at 12 and makes a sick sick come back. Being a terran player, mostly due to him, that vid always inspired me in getting better back then.

JAN0L Poland207 Posts September 06 2010 09:16 GMT #15 i played wc3 long ago and i had no internet back then I played DoW, CoH, SupCom, C&C:generals, Red Alert(on PS one), World in Comflict, Sins of a Solar Empire(not very known game but suprisingly good), but none of them competetive last two years i played DotA and that was my first serious game(we even defeated DTS once)

sCuMBaG United Kingdom1144 Posts September 06 2010 09:35 GMT #17 SC:BW only. after 5 games of wc3 at a friends house, i considered the game as bullshit and way too low. i watched him play some games too, and he's actually pretty good. but it's way too much colors and so so so fucking slow. all in all the game sucks, so i didn't play. never felt the urge to play anything else except broodwar. but then again, i'm not the "gamer" type of person. it was just this one game that amazed me over and over again, and kept me playing for about 9 years.
