Voted Zenex simply because they 4-0'd all of FXO - but then again, FXO never pulled out their magic Sheth. Hmm...

If Zenex could ZvZ this would be a hard one to predict tbh. Though lol they can't ZvZ. So Im should take this.

Byun could easily 3-kill and Line take the 4th game. This is just a pure tossup.

Been watching the ICCUP Korean Weeklys lately, lots of ZENEX players impressing me.

On the other hand, it is IM. Going to stick with them...

First off IM is on a completely different level then FXO. Second the reason why they didn't bring Sheth out was that earlier that day he had lost to ZeNEX's (P)Puzzle in Code A. He was probably still a bit shaken up and even then his ZvT might not have been enough to defeat Hack, who isn't even the best ZeNEX player.

On the topic of IM vs ZeNEX, I think that ZeNEX could definitely stand a chance, but it really depends on how well ZeNEX's players deal with those of IM. If players like (Z)CoCa, (Z)Line, (T)Byun, and (P)Puzzle play their best, they could stand a chance. I also wonder if IM will continue to not play their best players ((T)MVP and (Z)NesTea who they refused to play last match against fOu). ZeNEX 4-0ed FXO, who as a team really cannot compare to the skill on IM, but at the same time IM barely bet fOu, a team that I personally don't think is as skillful as the other Korean teams.

As far as dealing with (Z)NesTea and (Z)LosirA, ZeNEX's best bet would be to use either (T)Byun or (P)Puzzle in my opinion. I know that ZeNEX's top Zergs ((Z)CoCa, (Z)Line, and (Z)Kyrix) don't have the best record of ZvZ, but it's such a random match-up that I think they could win a game off them if they practice a very specific strategy and get ready to snipe (remember they're allowed to pick the map so sniping in match-ups like ZvZ and PvP can be a very good and dangerous idea).

Despite all of that I would say that ZeNEX is the underdog, but I still voted on them to win it, but it should be close. I think it should be a 4-3 in ZeNEX's favor.

Lol I'd say IM autovote, but IM didn't even use NesTea and Mvp last time, and that was against fOu. ZeNEX are weaker, who knows who IM won't use this time. -_-

Still going to go with IM though. The coach proved his point, they dont need Mvp and NesTea to win. Now hopefully he plays them both tonight if he has to. >.>

Who's to say ZeNEX is weaker then fOu? fOu is fairly solid, but other than (Z)Leenock and (T)sC, their team is rather unimpressive.

I would say of the three best IM players, two are Zerg. Now (Z)NesTea and (T)LosirA both are absolutely dominant at ZvZ, and their record shows that (88.24% and 80.00% respectively). That being said, ZvZ is such a crazy match-up that is so hard to predict, you never really can definitively say who will win.

This is talking about recent Code S and Code A events, I don't know if it's necessary but be warned:
+ Show Spoiler +
Two players who ZeNEX is going to need to use if they want to win are (P)Puzzle and (T)Byun. As much as I hate to say it, because he knocked out my beloved MMA, Puzzle is really good. His PvZ and PvT has been looking really solid, and if he can beat IM's Z's and T's, then who's to say he can't defeat their less known P's.

I don't know who watched (T)Byun's gameplay in the group stages, but his play was fantastic. On any other map, I think he would have defeated (Z)Zenio, but because of Terminus RE cross positions being one of the hardest maps TvZ and a minor control error costing him all his ghosts, he barely lost that match. Also, from the perspective of Losira or Nestea, who do you practice with to prepare yourself for a player as stylistic and unpredictable as Byun?

But his loss to Zenio aside, let's look at Byun's other recent victories:
  • He recently defeated PuMa in the iCCup Korean Weekly #3
  • Then he lost in the finals to a teammate ((Z)Tandongho is super solid, I'd love to see him get played)
  • After his grueling game against Zenio which he lost, Byun managed to play 2 TvTs and defeat two of the best TvTers in the world in a row.
  • He's proven himself recently, and he definitely can win a couple of games for ZeNEX and give them a win.

As far as strategy for ZeNEX goes, I would say that before they send Byun in, they should make sure to get rid of any maps like Terminus RE where it will be very difficult to beat very macro-intensive Zergs like NesTea or LosirA.

ZeNEX is clearly the underdog, but I don't think you're giving them enough credit. I voted ZeNEX, let's hope they prove me right haha.

True < Line
Losira > Line
Losira < Puzzle
NesTea > Puzzle
Nestea < Sniper(CoCa/Hack/cOre/IceCream/JJun/Life/Yong/Tandongho)
Mvp/Happy/Yoda > Sniper(x)
Mvp/Happy/Yoda = Byun

Gonna be supertight, going 5euros for ZeNEX@pinnacle, just hoping that IM doesn´t use Happy. Having Happy, Puzzle and Line in fantasy, will see anyways
