InCa <Terminus RE> KyrixMC <Metalopolis> BomberKyrix <Crossfire SE> Bomber InCa <Xel'Naga Caverns> MCKyrix <Crevasse> InCaI think just about everybody knows who will win the first match because even though a lot of people say Kyrix is bad (I personally disagree but that's not important), I think we can all agree that InCa is awful at everything that isn't PvP (his PvT is not good, it's just super cheesy and people haven't seemed to catch on). In the old group systems I think I'd vote MC and Bomber, but I think that Bomber has a good chance at beating MC because his TvP is impeccable and MC has more trouble in TvP then any other match-up ( Polt anyone?).Kyrix is a good player. Bomber is a better player. I like Kyrix, but I doubt he will stand a chance against either MC or Bomber. Perhaps Kyrix will cheese Bomber out, but I feel like Bomber will probably be ready for something like that. Hopefully Bomber doesn't get super cocky like he has in the past and he'll take the group 2-0. While InCa's PvZ and PvT are predictable and awful. His PvP is the complete opposite; you never know quite what to expect, but it's probably really good. InCa is incredible at creating the most wonky strategies from proxy gates to cannon rushes to who knows what. Since it's Xel'Naga I wouldn't be surprised to see some sort of cannon rush, but I would love to see a more interesting strategy. As it only has two spawns it's almost guaranteed that there will be something really cheesy. Also because they're on the same team, InCa probably knows MC's PvP on Xel'Naga better then MC does, but InCa is so unpredictable that there is no way of knowing just what he might do. Once again InCa's PvZ is so bad that I will never predict him winning a match. If MC wins over InCa then MC will roll Kyrix because while Kyrix is good I don't think he's at the same level as Bomber or MC. If MC wins the first game, then he will advance first in the group as he'll beat Kyrix. Then Bomber will hopefully beat InCa in the Loser's match and then beat Kyrix in Game 5. I want MC/Bomber just because they're the two best players in my opinion, but I doubt it will happen because InCa is a crazy good PvP sniper and games with players like him and Kyrix are always unpredictable. | ||

Bomber > MC Kyrix > Inca So it'll be Inca vs. MC and Bomber vs. Kyrix. Last time, Inca > MC, so MC will probably be knocked out of Code S. I personally think Bomber is better than Kyrix, so it'll come down to Inca vs. Kyrix again. And once again, Inca's horrible PvZ will come into play, leading me to go for Bomber/Kyrix. | ||

The closest thing to a "Group of Death" this tournament is Group D or possibly Group E (or at least that's the group of death if your XvT isn't good). | ||
