I am voting for Huk. I'm sorry you have to wake up in the middle of the night to play ClouD, and hope they get some higher caliber competition for you soon. | ||

There's really no reason to bash players like that. ClouD is a great player and while I doubt he will defeat HuK, that doesn't mean that you should instantly dismiss him. I'll be honest, it's probably the Rocky Balboa inside of me, but I always love to root for the underdog and in this case it's obvious that Cloud is the underdog. That being said: Now I'll be honest, I was part of the majority there. It seemed to me that Rain would take it 2-0 (and many people agreed with me if you check the Liquibet page). Just to be clear, I watched these games, and it was not ClouD cheesing out Rain, there was nothing horribly gimmicky about his play. ClouD actually played surprisingly better than Rain. The really interesting thing, according to TLPD, Cloud's worst match-up is TvT. Now, I don't know if you've watched Rain's games since he's joined Fnatic, but he's absolutely sick, and his TvT often times seems to be his best match-up. ClouD's TvT has shown great improvement, I wonder if his TvP will as well. I'm going my Rocky Balboa instinct here, ClouD 2-0. | ||

That was TvT this is TvP and your against a player like Huk. I'm not sure if you read the rest of what I wrote, but ClouD demonstrated that he has improved a lot. Granted, now that I'm supporting him, he'll probably lose 2-0, but frankly, TvT I feel is a match-up where (at least in Bo3s or Bo5s) it is extremely difficult to beat a better player. There aren't many game-ending cheeses, it's difficult to be aggressive, and it requires great macro. TvP, on the other hand is a match-up where there are a lot more super aggressive/strong cheeses on both sides. For example, Terran has the 1-1-1 All-In which has been proven to be extremely strong, and Protoss has builds like 3 Gate Void Ray or even Dark Templar builds that, if they catch your opponent off guard, just end the game right there. Granted, if you play 100 TvPs, the better player will win the majority of the games, but to win two out of three it could easily go either way. Plus, if you check ClouD's TLPD, his vP is his strongest match-up and his vT is his worst match-up. That could just be some sort of misinterpretation of numbers, but ClouD definitely stands a chance against HuK. Sure I'm a minority and--like I said--because I'm writing this ClouD will probably lose 2-0, but I believe. :D | ||
