Edit: Also, the manager should probably be listed as SlayerS_Jessica / Kim, Ga Yeon (김가연) (since she has been managing the team since it was created) - Knight_SEAL actually left his coaching position many months ago, which is in fact why Cella is the coach now.

![]() Brackets 3. Place match was a walkover and the last game of the finals was forfeited by the loser, so it's technically 3-1 I think.

Problem is, I know that Koreans are not always accurate when it comes to romanization of their words, so I'm reluctant to take it for a fact. So, it might be good that someone from the TLPD staff could look into it, and check the proper romanization of Mvp's name, so that we can put an end to the ongoing edition war. Best regards

Why would we exclude Koreans from the TLPD international ranking ? It doesn't make much sense. First, Koreans participating international competitions are included in TLPD International and thus actively modify Elo rankings with the games they play. Second, what about Koreans playing mainly international events, won't they never appear anywhere ?We are missing major players such as Puma/MMA who are the best players in the world in international competitions but aren't as good in the Korean TLPD ranking.

But in my opinion, TLPD International was meant for international tournaments, not non-Korean players. So a Korean playing only foreign tournaments could be the best player in the world yet not appear in any of the two ranking ? Sounds odd. edit : now that I think about it, there was a SC2 TLPD International and a SC2 TLPD Korean because it followed the BW model were both scenes were really apart. Because SC2 scene is a lot more global, would it make sense to merge both TLPDs then recompute the Elo scores. Then split the ranks between Koreans and foreigners.

![]() To solve the TLPD-ize and wiki-linking features I suggest having a small pull-down menu in-between the two buttons. Select SC2 and the text links to SC2 ELO and LP2, select SC1 for the BW counterpart. Since SC2 is the dominant community the pull down menu should default to SC2 in every forum except Brood War. I agree with this. The only complication I can think of is that Koreans have an on average higher skill level (a quick calculation on my part gave an 230 ELO difference between ELO int and ELO kor). + Show Spoiler + MC 2383 2126 Jinro 2140 1946 Huk 2211 2063 Nada 2171 2122 MMA 2355 2108 Puma 2389 2135 Zenio 2255 2069 Boxer 2221 1949 Rain 2295 2056 Bomber 2278 2237 Ace 2278 1946 Sc 2250 2084 Hack 2249 2045 Squirtle 2230 2056 Ensnare 2104 2019 MVP 3221 2164 Top 2166 2138 July 2228 2063 TheStc 2271 2153 MK 2313 2110 2300,4 2079,45 This is primarily an issue because unranked Koreans also have an on average higher skill level even before they start competing. This could pose more or less of a problem depending on which method is used when calculating a players initial ELO and is solved by assigning a higher expected value when new Koreans are introduced to the database.

In a similar vein, since PR is gone, it'd be cool if there was an option to display top BW ELO and top BE KesPa rankings instead of international/korean SC2 players.

i want to post about the Fanclub section. IMO you should have 500< posts to open a fanclub so the Admins can be sure that the opener will care about the Fanclub. As i watched Mana´s fanclub i nearly cried because its so loveless designed. Thanks for reading TL stuff. Sorry this is the wrong feedback section xD ![]()
