We will be reviewing featured streams monthly, and will be adding and removing featured streams accordingly. Just because a player was removed at this time does not mean he will never be added again. So from this you would get the idea that streams will be added and removed from the featured list monthly. However, according to the spoilers on the front page, the last update on added streams to the featured list was March, and no one has been removed from their featured status since November of 2011. Also, according to this item, the only non-featured, non-korean streamer to be featured since December of 2011 is QuanticFlo. Here is a list of some of the featured streamers who I think most people would agree don't really belong there. While some players who have achieved very good results such as StarNan who recently placed top 3 at Dreamhack are not featured, this list, which includes numerous innactive players and players who have no results in a long period of months all remain on the featured streamer list. There's a ton of people that should be featured that are trying to make a living with this game, so we can hope that TL will actually start adding more players into the featured list that stream often and are masters/gm/pro. You want e-sports to grow, then you say "No" to a bajillion of the up and comers that are trying to earn a living through streaming and SC2. Quite the conundrum. I've had quite a viewership for over a year now, I even had more 8-9 months ago, avging 200-500 viewers. Still not featured. It's honestly quite depressing. | ||

Ok to be blunt with you Idra has had good results, not this year but he did previously. You can't tell me making ro8 code S plus his tournament wins means he shouldn't be featured. While yes Bly should be featured, you shouldn't put Idra in that group of who shouldn't because Idra has had results and has earned his status of featured stream with his good tournament results in bw and sc2 excluding this year. but in general I don't think mods really look at this thread as it hasn't been updated since march  | ||

The first expansion set to SC2 is in beta-stage and about to be released. Very soon after release all tournaments will switch over. It is very interesting to watch the development of Hots game play. It is a shame that most streamers stream WoL 95%+ of the time. The only featured streamer that consistently streams Hots is MorroW. You should feature Avilo's stream too. Lately I have seen Avilo win agains: WhiteRa , Morrow , Zenio , IMHorror and Dragon to name a few. MorroW seriously fears his TvT. Skill is not an issue. Yes, Avilo has a strong personality, but diversity in personality is something good! It would be very boring if everyone has to fit in the same box of allowed personalities. Any intelligent person without prejudice can see that Avilo is a very talented SC2 player that consistently has been an innovator of new strategies and styles. Sure he shows emotions and whines sometimes, but he is honest about it and doesn't hide it like other players do. By watching his stream you can gather a lot of insight and understanding by listening to him and studying his play. As a streamer he is a role-model in the sense that he takes time to answer questions and also reviews and comments replays sent in by his viewers. Some featured streamers just mass games, ragequit when they lose, does no commentary , does not answer questions and instead constantly listens to dubstep music while 5k blind fanboys go crazy in the chat. Feature this guy. He deserves it. edit: Day9 watches Avilo's stream. Just saying ... | ||

Since he obviously hasn't been featured yet (and there's no way TL isn't aware of his skill), it's obvious he doesn't meet some objective criteria for being feature, be it actual tournament wins, viewer count or whatever, which is really silly. Subjectively, he obviously deserves to be featured and everyone is aware of it. | ||
