What's great about ghosts early on TvT is scan is the only mobile detection, you can get them to waste lots of scan while you scout the map.
Remember just ONE scan almost pays for the cost of the ghost. 275 minerals he just lost.

If your opponent has only 2 CCs and you have a few ghosts there's the possibility of a nuke timing attack.
Run in cloaked and EMP the OCs! Now he can't scan you so you find a nice spot and Nuke. The best spots to Nukes are near lots of Add-ons and Supply depots as they will all be destroyed. Then you assault mineral lines with your cloaked ghosts.
