Hello Teamliquidians.
I will be traveling to Korea at the end of next week and staying in Seoul for aboooout 7 days. =) I have read a lot of the older threads about the city and they are a great help.
A lot of people from TL have visited or lived in Seoul so If anyone wants to throw me some tips or advice, please feel free to do so. Thanks n_n

Can you bring me something back, Shiny? o.O

don't go to progamer matches every day
there are much better things to do with your time in a new foreign country to explore
|
Go to a proleague match and put a large neon sign that says- "I love teamliquid"??
|
Yeah man, if you go to 1 or 2 matches tops, you'll remember it forever.
I live here and have nothing to do on early Saturday afternoon so I'll check out some games on the weekends, but don't kill the rest of your trip.
Stay out til the subway reopens in Hongdae at least once to say you did it. Crazy place. Go to COEX, Myungdong, Yongsan (Proleague), Dongdaemun for shopping, and if you like history check out the National museum and the DMZ. Soju isn't that cool, and the beer here sucks. Eat some dog to say you did it, but mostly, hang out with friends and make new ones.

i envy you i've been hoping to go to korea

there are much better things to do with your time in a new foreign country to explore disagreed, going once is worth it. edit: look at the calendar and find the biggest match and just go to that. id suggest at the OGN studio since it's less of a disaster and easier to get to.

Bring me back Jaedongs head.
But seriously, go to at least one pro match!!!

I'm going to try and get to a game if possible obviously and yeah judging by Elric's guide, it appears the OGN studio is much easier to find.

go watch a pro game. (well. duh) and visit a korean PC bang during "rush" hour (after school gets out / after hakwoon gets out)
Go shopping in NamDaeMoon, buy some cool stuff and EAT MAN EAT. Authentic korean food is the shit

*coughelricandneverggsguideifyoudon'tmindcough* Plus LOOX is a piece of shit. I only go there when it's absolutely necessary (aka, Group selection.)

Only 7 days? At least stay there for two weeks to a month.
