You mention mining but literally every map in BSL has good mining other than Winter Solstice 6oclock main (and this is mainly a bottom mineral formation issue), there's an update for that coming out soon. So what other maps are you talking about that don't have "normal mining"? Also the BSL pool is out of our control, I do my best to help the map makers out with small improvements (to make things easier/faster for them). I make it a priority to have the maps meet a certain standard for SB tho.. funny enough that standard is mining and huge balance/bug issues.
If Winters Solstice is finally getting fixed/changed, then great. Its flaws with mining and pathing/being all buildable in the center have been pointed out for over a month now (and longer if you include when it was used for BWCL). Neo Luna also still quite flawed for 1v1, but atleast that got fixed mining in the end, along with Champion, so props for that.
Furthermore as I pointed out, there exists hundreds of hours (and ever growing) of gameplay from the absolutely best players in the world on the ASL maps from Proleague, KCM, Ultimate Battle etc., which foreigners can use for studying, while nothing even remotely close exists for the SB pool (with the exception of Champion I suppose).
And I guess correct me if I got it wrong, but as I understood it, haven't the BSL and SB map pools basically been decided in tandem so far? By zzzero and you?
Anyway this is going offtopic from Proleague discussion so I'll stop here.

Sorry double post, feel free to delete

Only a few players streaming today to squeeze out some sort of hybrid proleague, but it feels more like K League to me with Tyson YSC and ggaemo:

no.. only zzzero and his sponsor, although i talk with zzzero about the issues of the maps to help them understand if they're fixable (depending on the availability of the map maker/how hard the problem is to fix etc.)
for example they picked 3rd impact initially but it had a lot of issues/bugs and the map maker wasn't available to fix them, so instead they picked a different map
i guess this is enough talking about your cluelessness, let's not derail any further

Doesn't sound like it's "out of your control" then

I think they're doing losers format for Set 2 today.
|
|
Losers league is such a fun format that I wish they use more often. You know, the loser has to stay for the next game and can only get out of hell when he wins once. On the other hand, the other team can just keep beating "a dead horse" to win the entire set. Weaker players like Shuttle are obviously the prey.

is there an all-time tally for all-kills?
|
You have to go back to 2017 or something for an all time tally which is more or less impossible. Eloboard was created in mid 2021 and only since then they started to record proleague separately, so maybe we can get the data there but someone has to go back and count.
The saddest thing is sponbbang is now dead so we lost an enormous chunk of data from 2016 to 2021.

(Sorry for the possible off-topic)

Wait, so eloboard is not the fork of sponbbang? Was the db of sponbbang simply dropped? No one has at least a dump or some partial read-only backup that could be queried?

Wait, so eloboard is not the fork of sponbbang? Was the db of sponbbang simply dropped? No one has at least a dump or some partial read-only backup that could be queried? Whoever created sponbbang probably still has it. But the public can't just go to a website and get the data now. Lots of interesting queries you can do on that site.

Another proleague with some unusual names, due to the first one with some mixing ups already

+ Show Spoiler +How TF did Sea take down Soma I'll never know lol And in the other league, Noob destroyed Soulkey. The margin at this level is thinner than you thought.
