There’s no doubt that Battle Royale games have taken over esports, with games like Realm Royale, H1Z1, and CoD Blackout running the table. We at TLnet always keep an eye out for the next big thing and the genre has become too big to ignore. That’s why we’ve decided to launch our own version of a BR game: TL- (Pronounced: “tiː ɛl mīn-əs”).
TL- is a clever play on words based on our hugely successful TL+ system. Unlike with TL+, gifting someone TL- isn’t really of a lovely gesture, though, as it will throw the two of you into an immersive, revolutionary, and dynamic BR experience battling to the death through a bidding war. In short: we’re giving you the option to pay to have another user banned. However, that user can try to outbid you and, if they win, have you banned instead.
We fully expect this game to take off in a way that will amaze the industry. At the moment of launch, we will automatically have 500,000 players, all users in the TLnet family, and we expect those numbers to quadruple in the first 24 hours. It's a BR game, after all, so there's no way it can fail.
Here’s how TL- will work:
While the feature isn’t ready yet, we’re so excited about this that we had to tell you right away. If any potential investors see this post and are interested in investing in the hottest Battle Royale-game on the market, please drop us an email at WereSellingOut[at]TeamLiquid.net.

Here’s how TL- will work:
- You run into another user in the US Politics thread
- You have a “civil discussion” but ultimately decide that you would prefer TLnet without the other user present.
- In his or her signature, there will be a button saying “Gift TL-”
- Click that button, make an initial bid, and transfer the money to our PayPal account
- Once we have received the money, your opponent will be notified of his or her gift and the amount you pledged. The user can then try to outbid you.
- This bidding process repeats until one of you gives up and clicks the “I surrender” button, or fail to respond within 48 hours. After this, you need to embellish the ban.

FAQ
Q: Will there be an app?
A: No, don’t you guys have PC’s?
A: No, don’t you guys have PC’s?
Q: Why call it “Gifting TL-” and not something else?
A: Legal reasons. A “gift” is, per definition, not gambling, which requires certain licenses. Thanks to not having to get a gambling license we expect no drama and record revenue.

Q: If I lose, will I at least get my money back?
