Maru 3-1 soO :: As good as Maru is, soO is a Top 4 Zerg and it's not the finals ShoWTimE 3-2 Zest :: My bias leaked into this a little, but this is definitely the highest chance of a foreign RO16 win Stats 3-0 Cyan :: Welp... This is the issue with ceding a spot to a Chinese player "just cuz" SpeCial 3-1 Has :: I don't see SpeCial being unprepared for Has again. This MU breaks my heart though Serral 3-0 Kelazhur :: Serral is king, but Kela will always be one of my favorites Rogue 3-2 INnoVation :: Best RO16 MU. This could be a GSL finals if it weren't for our god Maru Dark 3-1 Neeb :: Neeb is exceptionally good, and could pull off an upset. But an upset is what it would be Classic 3-2 Scarlett :: With Scarlett's variability being off the charts, this could go in many, many directions A few things I'd like to point out that I'm disappointed with in this tournament, despite it being so awesome and exciting: The draws... So why wasn't it entirely based on the foreign/KR point system?? If it were, this would be our much improved RO16: Maru vs Cyan Neeb vs Zest SpeCial vs soO Stats vs Kelazhur ShoWTimE vs Dark Classic vs Scarlett Rogue vs Has Serral vs INnoVation Also, the time of broadcast is horrible. It's starting at 15:00 KST, meaning 8:00-9:00 depending where you are in Europe (may be slightly off with that), and worst of all 2:00 EDT. That is where I, and many other starcraft fans, live. That is the worst possible time for us. Couldn't it be played at even 19:00 KST so that it's reasonable for ALL major starcraft time zones? Sigh. I might even wake up in the middle of the night to watch the first two matches, because I am that dedicated. Lastly, and least importantly, why has the map pool yet to be released???

I know this is a less serious tournament than WCS or GSL so I guess it doesn't matter that much. I hope the casters aren't shameless enough to hype this as "best players from outside korea vs best koreans" because that would be a lie. They absolutely will. If Tastosis can repeatedly claim one of the most boring GSL ro32s was the best ever, they can and will hype the players to high heaven.

Zest 3 - 1 ShoWTimE Stats 3 - 0 Cyan Serral 3 - 1 Kelazur Rogue 3 - 2 INnoVation Dark 3 - 0 Neeb Classic 3 - 1 Scarlett @TentativePanda the reason that that isn't the bracket is that there would be no matchups with foreigners in them during the weekend.

Also I hope Serral doesn't play against Inno. It's kinda unfair since he doesn't have any foreign terran even remotely close to Inno's level. I want to see him against other zergs! Some nasty ZvZ. Really looking forward seeing him face Dark and Rogue. I hope Maru loses. I am tired of the kid.

Also, go to the GSL twitch page after, and you should be able to see the full broadcast. Also, as someone who lives in the west, I will say that 19:00 KST is an awful time to start. So, 15:00 is much better. I do wish it could have started at 13:00.
