I think the spells it has definately have potential of adding nice aspects to the game, but there's no way anyone can tell yet what part it will play in the game without knowing its hp, relative cost to other units etc. On May 19 2007 11:58 Luddite wrote: The mothership will be to SC2 what the infested terran was to brood wars. Obtaining an infested terran takes a load of effort though, with a high chance of failing and is hardly comparable. It was mostly a single player campaign unit. Still, I doubt you predicted what the use of an infested terran was before brood war actually came out. | ||

It could just as easily be a unit that appears every game. You haven't played it, you have no idea. All I can say is don't clump your air units. | ||

Anyway, looking at the mothership from the resource angle, itll probably eat up a lot of supply (even if its limit 1), and expend a lot of energy just to cast its specials. Stopping missiles and them watching them fall looks damn cool. | ||
