I'm 33, I'm healthy, I'm relatively well off financially, I have a beautiful "wife", a really great dog, a nice house ... and all I do is bitch and moan about my life daily. I'm embarrassed by my behavior and watching the Mr Bitter video has me so sick with myself I can't even describe how dirty I feel about myself. Forget about his physical limitations, his attitude towards life, his thirst to do all these things like grad/med school/traveling, all make me feel like I'm just skating by wasting my time when I can be doing so much more. Matt - thank you for the wake up call, hopefully I can better myself and my attitude thanks to your story and your passion.

Not trying to read into it too much, but usually when I encounter people who focus on team games, I assume they can't handle losing very well. So while he probably has a positive mindset in other areas of his life, he most likely doesn't handle losses very well

I don't even know what to say to this. Part of me wants to defend people who play team games only and the other part of me... no, just no. >_<

Part of me wants to defend people who play team games only and the other part of me... no, just no. >_< If it wern't for team games I would have quit sc2 a looooong time ago. My first and favorite competitive game was cs 1.6. As much as I like sc2 now and watching the proscene, serious team competition is so much more intense and interesting to me. Sometimes I really wish starcraft wasnt just 1v1, because the entire idea of a 'starcraft pro team' is still a little bit ridiculous to me (as evidenced by mc's continued success being on a 'team' with no 'teammates'). Team esports > individual esports, any day of the week :/
