Most foreigner just want easy foreign money...to bad for them Koreans are coming over so you may not have a choice but go to Korea to even win foreign tournaments, This is an extremely ignorant post. If foreigners were in it for the money then they'd do something else in the esports field besides playing (such as coaching or commentating), there is no such thing as "easy foreign money". Going to korea and staying in a new country for an extended period of time is its own challenge beyond playing the game and there is a lot of hard work invovled with that, which most people either don't want to or simply can't handle. Why do you think staying in a foreign country for an extended period of time with no friends and families is a very easy thing? It takes perseverance to stay in korea for an extended period of time. IdrA said it himself, its a variety of reasons that brought him back to USA. 1) Growth of foreign esports. (Easy money yes!) 2) His family/friends are all back in the US. 3) No language barriers

And then he shall conquer Korea and slay elephants. ... okay, you know what, I was with you up until that, Guenther, but 'slay elephants?' What, you're accusing me of being an amateur for being taken aback by a line that makes no sense... at all? Okay, I get it now, but it would have been nice if you told me what it meant beforehand. No, nevermind, back to the shoot, Jesus, stop taking everything so personally.

Just look at the other foreigners who went to Korea with the sole intent of playing against the top competition to challenge themselves: HuK, Jinro, and Idra, they all improved DRASTICALLY. In fact, Huk improved the most of those 3 and easily of all the foreigners, and you could tell he had/has the same exact attitude as you, humble and ready to learn, but at the same time confident and aware of his potential. So I think your attitude and, obviously, your skill will bring you success in Korea. And even if the success doesn't come in the form of winning games in the GSL, remember that you had the drive to go to a foreign country simply because you wanted to play against the best and test yourself against that caliber of players. For a sports analogy, I'd rather lose against NBA players and know where I stand than dominate a Rec league and never know how good I could be.
