Since there seems to be a decent number of no-shows, I’m going to introduce a mid-league reformat.
Here's how it will work: Players who still want to participate, notify your coaches ASAP. Coaches, PM me your new rosters once you think you've got everyone.
There will still be two matches a week, but for each match, coaches will choose five players from their roster as long as each player is used. I will also set a point cap for each match, but it will be determined once I've seen all of the rosters.
There will also be a player switch the day after preliminary lineups are posted.

REMEMBER, the number one ranking is still anyone's game. There is almost no difference in points in the top eight spots, with six teams all at 19 or 20 wins.

I will finish up week 2 standings when I'm sure everyone who is going to play their games has already done so. Also, since people are doing absolute shit in getting their week 2 games done, I'm forced to use game W-L record (as opposed to sets or matches) to determine ranking.
Playoffs will be STX-Masters style, with ((9v8) v7) v6... and so on. (So you're not out of the running yet, Clazzi
). (NOT All-kill, though).As for the map rotations, you have three options (vote for one). 1-2-1, where one map is used in both the first and third set (like what we did in the first week), 1-2-3, where there's a different map for each set (second week), or loser picks with a set first map.

Since there will be no games this week, I'm introducing some super-awesome contests in their place!
Party Pooper (Coaches only): Each coach will be given the opportunity to show of their random UMS game skills by duking it out in a mini-game party tournament! The nine coaches will be divided into three groups of three, with the three winners facing off in the final round. The winner's team will be awarded two wins! The groups are scheduled to meet on Wednesday at 4:00 EST, Wednesday at 11:00 EST, and Thursday at 11:00 EST (All PM - aka 16:00/23:00/23:00). Coaches, post which groups you will be available for! Don't be a party pooper! (Map can be downloaded [url blocked])
King of Games (Players only): Each team will select a representative to participate in a tournament of a random UMS map of my choosing! Again, you will be split into groups of three, with the three winners making up the final group, playing a completely different UMS map! These maps will be revealed at a later date, and may not be the same for each group. The games will begin on Thursday at 11:00 EST/10:00 CST/8:00 PST (PM). Remember, teams, pick someone who will actually show up. You get another two wins if your representative wins, but you get nothing if he bails! It's time to d-d-d-duel!
Back to School (Players only): Yes, it's that time of year again. You're heading back to your stack of expensive university textbooks (or, in Kawaii's case, stack of 2nd grade snack time milk and cookies), dreadfully waiting for your professor's next report assignment. Well, who needs those boring reports? Why not do an awesome battle report of a particularly outstanding LKL game instead? All entries will be proudly displayed in this thread along with my own upcoming battle report(s) (yes, I'll get them done), and the winner's team will receive three wins (possibly more if I don't have very many entries)! All entries are judged on the criteria of creativity, humor, and overall awesomeness, and are due on Saturday.
