Hi all. I\'ve been playing starcraft for about 3-4 months and I haven\'t regretted it. Although, I am sorta losing the flame that has burned tirelessly. I\'ve been losing alot and just wouldn\'t feel like playing and do something else, (like to defusing my brain reading some rather odd posts of people\'s addiction to starcraft, sneezing Bisu, dreaming of hanging with Savior). Also, none of the races appeal to me and I have the mindset of \"lose with one race, play as another\" until I got mad. I played warcraft 3 one time ad beat a level 20 night elf without even trying. I liked the victory I nearly always achieve when playing WC3. I\'ve been trying to find a clan or someone to practice with but I coudn\'t get one. I also HATE playing against protoss (NO OFFENSE TO THE TOSS USERS!!!)
Keeping the info I posted in mind, what should I do? If someone (preferably a Terran or Zerg) were to help me with all the matchups, and help me. Or just flame me until I get an important message in my head.
TYVM and keep the flaming (unless constructive) minimum plz.

You dont have to always win to have fun.
You can play UMS, play 2v2, 1v1, watch proleague.
It's supposed to be fun, if you have no fun, then change your view on it, or do something else.

-_-;;; stop whining, and practice if you want to start winning.
But to express my thoughts without being mean, I can just simply say you either - continue playing the game...if you do, you will not have fun by winning, thus you need to find a way to win. How? practice. You have been playing for 3-4 months. Do not expect anything. This is not WC3.....-_- so simply, similar to my first statement, stop whining, and start mass gaming on ladders and with friends. read guides, watch vods, etc., etc.... - if you really feel like not playing, than don't. SC shouldn't be a chore, it should be a source of fun.

Cliche, I know, but just play to have fun. Hopefully SC2 will come along to rekindle your fires if you decide to cool off SC for now.

If it's not fun, take a break and come back :d
OR DOTA!!!!

Find newbies to play against if you just like the rush of winning ...
|
if u play war3 shouldnt u be an ok player on sc?? but if u are playing dota it wont help u cuz dota is a cliking game not a strat game..... and do not just expect for u to win all the time once i had a good record of not lossing then later i lost like 20 games in a row.... but later on i kept on winning and lossing so yea just play

Stop playing. It takes hours to find a game these days, even for me. It's annoying and frustrating and not really worth the effort & annoyance that comes with it.
Just play casually or to relax (if possible).

Starcraft is really fun if you have a goup of people you like and know to play with. Trying to mass game and get better just isnt going to be fun, especially with the limited number of games to join these days.
Try and find some people to play with (easier said than done) or just play casually like testie said.

Shut up Wizard- you used to complain all the time...
Your advice is legitimate, but don't be such a hypocrite

you used to complain all the time....and you didn't when you started out? No need to tell me to shut up...the harsh tone of my post is because I was in the same position as the OP a few months ago and I want to make my point clear. >.<

Winning is fun, but I don't have hobbies to win at, I have hobbies to have fun.
StarCraft for me is a hobby. Whether I win or lose, I have fun playing the game. Ping pong for me is a hobby. Whether I win or lose, I have fun playing ping pong. Street Fighter 3 for me is a hobby. Whether I win or lose, I have fun playing SF3. Violin for me is a hobby. Whether I win or... wait. I have fun playing violin.

I actually didn't whine to TL.net about my BW problems when I was a total noob. Your tone of voice just implies to me that you've never whined before. Whatever

Try finding to play vs zerg, on WCG maps, vs good players. (Koreans don't play maps they don't need). There's literally no one to play. Except Mondragon. And he's in my group. So... fuck WCG. Fuck it all to hell.
And yes, hours. I took 10 hours outta my day to get in shape yesterday, I got 4 games in 10 hours. All of them under 15 minutes. Sickly frustrating annoying waste of time that does no good. /vent

Quit and go do something else. If you've only been playing for 3-4 months are you're already getting tired, then you probably shouldn't push it and just give up while you're ahead. You don't have to play SC to like watching SC, many people who follow the pro scene don't play SC anymore and they still enjoy watching.
