-후기리그 첫 승이다.
-It's your first victory in the second season.
▶그동안 계속 뒷 경기에 배치돼 출전을 못했다. 다행히 개인리그가 있어서 심심하지 않게 보냈다. 오랜만에 나오니 긴장됐다. 나중에 들어보니 초반에 드론도 놀았다고 하더라. 긴장됐는데 이겨서 너무 기분이 좋다.
▶I was placed in the latter sets, and didn't get to play. Fortunately, individual leagues kept me out of boredom. I was nervous having not played(in Proleague) for awhile. I later heard there were even drones not doing anything in the beginning. I am happy I won, though I was very nervous.

-히드라리스크를 자주 쓴다.
-You frequently use Hydralisks.
▶다들 알고 있다. 원래 예전부터 히드라리스크만 써왔는데, 이제는 무턱대고 히드라만 쓰는게 아니라 운영의 요소가 가미됐다. 압박을 많이 주는 스타일로 발전됐다고나 할까. 히드라리스크로 피해를 줄 수도 있고, 끝낼 수도 있고, 겁만 줄 수도 있다. 이러다가 한 번 뮤탈리스크를 쓰면 또 분명히 통할 것이다. 굳이 상대가 더블 넥서스가 아니어도 모든 전략을 상대로도 쓸 수 있는게 히드라리스크다. 아마추어들도 쉽게 따라할 수 있는 좋은 전술이다.
▶Everyone knows it. I have been using hydralisks for a long time, but now it's not just about using hydralisks, but tingling spices of macro-management is combined. Should I say it has been evolved into an oppressive style? I can damage the opponents with hydralisks, end it altogether, or just annoy/scare them. Amidst all this, the day I use Mutalisks, it will also surely do its work. Not necessarily, only against double nexus, hydralisk is an ubiquitous build against any strategy. It is a good build easy to imitate even for amateurs.

-오늘은 히드라리스크 러시의 업그레이드판이었는데.
-Your Hydralisk push today was even more perfected.
▶혼자 타이밍을 재고 만들어낸 빌드다. 다른 선수들은 못 따라하더라(웃음). 러커-히드라로 본진에 드롭을 해서 옵저버 나오기 전까지 휘두르고 정면을 히드라로 뚫는 게 목표였다. 그 드롭이 큰 피해를 입혀서 손쉽게 경기를 끝냈다.
▶I calculated the timing by myself, and devised the build. Other progamers can't seem to mimic it(Smile). My goal was to coordinate the drop inside the base with lurker-hydralisks, and agitate/damage as much as possible before observer came out, then to push and clear out from the front. The drop inflicted much damage and the game ended without any hindrances from there on.

-최근 기세가 좋다.
-Your current situation looks golden.
▶어쩌다보니 요즘에 나갔다 하면 이긴다(웃음). 솔직히 오늘은 염보성 선수가 나왔으면 했다. 너무 커뮤니티에서 '운빨' 소리가 많아서 그 소리를 불식시키기 위해서다. 신 백두대간에서는 테란전도 자신있었다. 김택용 선수가 나온 것은 좀 의외였다. 최근 자신감도 많이 찾았고, 어느 정도 방송 무대도 많이 겪다보니까 내 플레이를 부드럽게 할 수 있는 것 같다. 실수도 적어졌다.
▶It just happens to be that I win everytime I play(Smile). In truth, I was expecting to meet Yum Bosung(Sea)(*1) today. I wanted to silence all the criticisms in the communities saying that all this is a mere 'luck'. I was confident against Terran in Shin Baekdoodaegan. Having to face Kim Taekyong(Bisu) was a bit unexpected. I regained much of my confidence recently. Having experienced the onstage matches for quite some time, I am able to perform my games more delicately. Mistakes decreased.

(*1) Yum Bosung, and Shin Baekdoodaegan(New Peaks of Baekdoo)
- The reason that Silver expected Sea in Baekdoodaegan is because Sea has a great record in Baekdoodaegan. Baek.doo.dae.gan even has a pseudonym, Yum.doo.dae.gan, named by the commentators of Ongamenet. (Baek replaced with Yum, Sea's first syllable of his first name.) Sea is that much good, in that map but MBChero must have expected that Pantech will prepare accordingly to Terran(Sea) and pull out an upper card, like Rock(Protoss) or go with a mirror match(Terran) extensively preparing for Sea. So MBCHero puts out a Protoss(Bisu) hoping for Pantech to pull out a Terran, or at least a mirror match of Protoss vs Protoss. Pantech goes, screw that bullshit

. "Silver is doing great recently, and he says that he's confident against Terran even if it means Sea in Baekdoodaegan. We're just gonna send out Zerg in Baekdoodaegan." The match, then, is Silver(Protoss killer Zerg) vs Bisu(Only having practiced for Terran and Protoss). This is what Proleague is all about.

-개인전 3연패 뒤 3연승이다.
-It is your three consecutive wins after three consecutive losses in individual sets.
▶ 기분이 굉장히 상쾌하다. 프로리그에서 우리 팀이 하위권 취급을 받는게 너무 싫다. 빨리 경기를 많이 해서 상위권으로 올라갔으면 좋겠다. 그동안 팀원들이 모두 움츠려있었지만 이제는 그것을 내뿜는 시기다. 정말 많이 준비했다. 프로리그가 중요하기 때문에 개인리그가 모레인데도 출전했다.
▶ I feel very much refreshed. I really hate the fact that my team is being treated as a weak team lingering on bottom of the scoreboard. I want to play the upcoming matches as quickly as possible and pull ourselves back on the top. Our teammates were somewhat timid in the recent past, but now is the time to let all that burst out. We prepared really a lot. I played in the Proleague because it is so important, though Staleague is on the day after tomorrow.

-테란과 상대하게 돼 신경쓰였을 것 같다.
-It must have bothered you having to play against Terran.
▶사실은 저그가 나오길 바랐다. 스타리그 결승전까지 내다본다고 하면 아예 전략이 노출되지 않는 저그와 상대하는 것이 가장 좋고, 8강에서 박성준과 3경기 맵이 타우크로스였기 때문에 준비한 것이 있었다. 상대가 테란이라 준결승에서 쓸 전략을 어쩔 수 없이 노출했다. 하지만 전략을 한 가지만 준비한 것은 아니기 때문에 오히려 상대의 머리를 복잡하게 할 수도 있지 않을까 싶다. 내 상승세를 보여줄 수도 있으니 기쁘게 받아들이겠다.
▶I honestly hoped to fight Zerg. Looking as far out as to the finals, having had to fight Zerg, where none of my strategy would have be revealed, was optimal, and I also had a strategy ready and prepared, since my third match with Park Sungjoon(Zergman) on R8 in Starleague was Tau Cross. I had no other choice but to reveal this strategy, I was going to use in the semi finals, having to fight Terran. However, my strategies are not limited to one, and I think this would rather perplex my opponent's mind even more.

-팀이 살아나는 분위기다.
-Your team seems to be back in shape.
▶나도 살아나고, 소명이도 결승에 올라가고, 개인리그에서 힘을 받고 무대 경험이 쌓이니까 자신감이 생겨서 프로리그에서 보여줄 수 있는 것 같다. 무대에 자주 서는 사람이 항상 우위에 있다.
▶I am back in shape, and Somyoung is in the finals. Having backed up by good performances in individual leagues and with increasing experience in on-stage games resulting boost in confidence, we are able to perform well in Proleague. Progamers performing onstage more frequently, definitely has the advantage.

-초반 찌르기가 날카로웠다.
-Your early push was excruciating.
▶상대의 대응을 모두 예상했다. 우리 팀 테란들이 연습해줬던 대로 상대가 움직여서 대처가 빨랐다. 초반에 내가 숨겨놓은 마린을 상대가 예측하지 못했던 것 같다. 벌쳐 한 마리가 그 마린을 찾았다면 내가 오히려 힘들게 시작하지 않았을까 싶다. 8배럭 플레이를 상대가 잘 막은 편이었기 때문이다.
▶I predicted all of my opponents counter moves. With my opponent playing along as my team Terran players did in the practice, I was able to quickly assess the game flow. It seemed that my opponent was not aware of the marines I hid. If only one vulture had sought out those marines, I think I would have been in a more tight situation than him; because the opponent withheld my 8 Barrack relatively well.

-마지막에 우직하게 밀어내는 모습이 인상적이었다.
-Your headstrong push at the end was impressive.
▶유리한 상황이라 내가 어떤 식으로 플레이해도 상관없지만 무리하지 않고 SCV를 기다려서 뚫으려고 했다. 그런데 마침 상대가 시즈모드를 풀길래 기회다 싶어서 들어갔다.
▶Having the advantage it really did not matter how I played out the game, but I did not risk anything, and waited for the SCVs, and then push, penetrate. But, then he unlocked the sieges and I immediately thought that was my chance, and went in head first.

-최근 상승세가 무섭다.
-Your recent uprising spirit is frightening.
▶스타리그 4강에 올랐지만 포스가 없다는 소리도 많이 들었다. 그런 말은 우승하면서 사라질 수 있도록 만들겠다. 내 모든 걸 회복하고 싶다. 부진했던 모습들을 머리 속에서 지우도록 해 주겠다.
▶Although I made it to the semi finals, I hear people saying that I don't have much "force"(*2). I will make those assumptions and accusations disappear by winning the league. I will erase all memories of my feeble days

force(*2) - It literally means the driving power of a progamer, often depicted by consecutive wins. However, as exceptional progamers were being described with the word 'force' the word started to envelop more meanings and nuiances within. The 'force' was used everywhere from describing progamers showing promising potentials, or specializing in particular area of skill(intotherainbow's reaver, Pusan's zealot, July's Mutalisks and so on). Ultimately, it became a simple phrase "John Doe's force is strong.", indicating extremely concentrated period of time, when a progamer dominates overwhelmingly to the degree where everyone agrees.
