Greetings TLers! The
High School Starleague (HSL) is putting on a 4 player 1v1 exhibition tournament in order to further promote the finals days of our Season 3 registration. If you’re enrolled in High School (or an equivalent secondary education establishments) and you are in North America or Europe, you should consider registering your school. We try to create both a fun and competitive environment for all, and all skill levels are represented in the league so do not be intimidated and feel that unless you are masters+ you can’t register.Original thread w/ full Season 3 info.
TL;DR:
- HSL is a school based team league for NA/EU High schools/equivalent secondary education establishments
- You need 3 players on NA to make a team
- You need 2 players on EU to make a team

- Go to sc2.hsstarleague.com to register your school, specifically here to start the process.
- Email sc2@hsstarleague.com if you can’t find enough players at your school

Arium is the youngest known Grandmaster on any server and is just entering his freshman year of high school this year. He recently joined the ROOT Academy team (SEED) and is presently rank 19 on the NA Grandmaster ladder with 1,128 points. He plays Protoss and will play for the 3rd place finishers from HSL Season 2, San Marino High School.SCA.Astrea:
Astrea is an up and coming Protoss player on Team .SCA and currently rank 4 on NA Grandmaster ladder with 1,230. He plays in the HSL for Torrey Pines High School and has helped this school to win two first place finishes in the past 3 seasons of HSL’s operation (we had a Season 0 preseason tournament; it's not a typo).iS.Sanddbox:
Sanddbox is a North American Zerg player from the team Infinity Seven. He is a presently ranked 128 on the NA Grandmaster ladder with 838 points . Like Astrea, Sanddbox also represents Torrey Pines High School and has assisted in securing their spot as two-time HSL Champions. He is currently a senior.EG.Xenocider:
Xenocider is another Grandmaster and is a Terran player from the team Evil Geniuses. He has participated in multiple MLG Open Brackets and most recently finished 25th-32nd at the 2013 MLG Spring Championship. He has also qualified for the Challenger League of2013 WCS Season 1 America: Challenger League, where he was knocked out in the Ro40 by MajOr, and then experienced a difficult elimination from the group stage after going 0-2 to both (now ROOT) State and Zenith of Origin’s Top.About the HSL

The HSL strives towards providing high schoolers with as team-orientated, competitive, fun, and rewarding of an experience that playing traditional sports for a high school does. Our deam is the day when eSports are respected and appreciated as much as traditional sports, and where high schools can officially field, fund, and support their own eSports teams.
