It's been a long time since the last BATLL (Bay Area TeamLiquid LAN), but here it finally is, BATLL XI! With many new eSports folks going to be in the area, including team Evil Geniuses and ROOT Gaming who are all around now, this may be one of the best BATLLs yet! Eudemonia has also updated their computers yet again, which is great news. We will try to have a better plan for dinner this time as well
I am personally putting up $500 in prize money to try and get as many of the best players in the area to come out, so any donations in order to spur more competitors and progamers to come would be awesome. See you guys there!On August 28 2013 02:54 Frogis wrote:

Thanks, this is definitely something people should know about. I will post it in the OP. If you park quite early perhaps it won't be such a problem but it still might just be easier to take BART (Bay Bridge is also closed this weekend).

Registration
Official sign-ups for the event are on the day of. However, when you post on this thread, if you could include your ladder division (aka gold, platinum, masters) that will help a lot in creating the tournament brackets.
Bring your own keyboard/mouse/mousepad/headset if you wish. If you don't, they are provided for $0.50 by Eudemonia (however I would suggest bringing your own for comfort and to avoid greasy headsets and such). You cannot bring your own computer, as the LAN Center doesn't allow it.
Parking Information
There are parking garages in the vicinity that give pretty cheap parking, as well as streetside meters that you can generally find nearby. However, the meters are 2 hour parking at max, so be careful about getting a ticket (I've gotten several from doing BATLLs haha). After 6PM, all streetside parking is free.

The Downtown Berkeley BART Station is nearby - after exiting the BART Station, walk 2 blocks north and you'll be on University Avenue. http://www.bart.gov/stations/dbrk/neighborhood.aspx
