Recently, because of finals exams, I have been unable to keep up with my usual flow of releasing interviews on a daily basis

However, I only have one final exam left on Wednesday, so expect interviews to start popping up like popcorn in just a bit

The reason I created this thread is because I have this project that I would like to try out and I wanted to see all your feedback and opinions.
For the longest time now, I have been pondering, and pondering, and pondering, about how I can give SC2 interviews more exposure. In my opinion, because SC2 General is such a thriving section on TL with so many threads, it is almost impossible for interviews to constantly stay in the top 6 spots for SC2 General. I also think this is more true if I have to release about 8 - 10 separate threads a week.
So here is the solution I came up with: I am going to create only two threads per week, one for all SPL interviews, and one for all WCS/GSTL interviews. This idea came from juicyjames' "This Week in StarCraft 2" threads. I really like the idea of having everything neatly organized and placed into one thread per week. That way, it is just easier for people on TL to find the thread and locate all the interviews for that week. My only concern is that "This Week in StarCraft 2" threads already have a section dedicated just for interviews, so implicating this project could be a bit redundant.
None the less, I think this could end up working out really well. Here is an example of what the threads would look like:

One final thing I would like to talk about:
Methods to locating SC2 interviews!
- Go to the TL.net search bar and type in [Interview] and then search. You will find the most recent interviews at the top
- Go to the SC2 Interviews/Translation Archive
- Go to the liquipedia page for that player and look at the section titled "Interviews" http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft2/PartinG#Interviews
- Go to the liquipedia page for that specific tournament and find this icon:
If you click on that icon, it will take you to the interview for that group's match winners
That's it! GL HF GG!

A very good post explaining why this idea could not end up working:

I like the having an organised thread however I have a few concerns. Firstly I want to state how much I enjoy and appreciate your dedication to interviews Seeker. I've been compulsively checking the SC2 General thread to see if an interview has gone up for the past weeks and being despairing that you've disappeared!
These are my concerns with the joint thread:
1) Dilution of discussion
One thing that was nice about the individual interview threads was that people could comment on the interviews in the thread only. So when Parting declares his awesomeness, it's fun hearing discussions kept together. A thread of weekly interviews may cause discussions of an individual's responses as it has be 'shared' now with other responses. As new interviews come up in the week, it's harder to comment on the interviews that have happened earlier in the week.
2) Knowing when new interviews come out
This is more a 'lazy' person comment, and the system at the moment is still not exactly the best, however it is easier at the moment to see interviews for the latest game because the title of the thread will mention it. I know when group B or C interviews are out because the title says so. With a joined system, one will have to look into the thread itself.
I am also unsure how TL deals with 'edits' in terms of 'bumping' threads back up into relevance. If people dont 'post' comments for a new interview, then the thread will be buried with a lot of other threads. That being said, most interview threads aren't hugely discussed anyway.
3) Other laziness
The third point is the scrolling! ... ok spoiler tags I guess is good, but otherwise it can be a lot of scrolling to find the relevant game.
The other issue is the potential for spoilers? If things aren't spoilered properly then spoiling results of a game can occur - normally it's fine as u dont have to click on the thread. but if you want to read an interview of a game you have already watched and there are other pending games, it wouldn't be so good to have the results potentially spoilered.
Im also not a fan of a million spoiler tags everywhere too.
Alternatives/Suggestions?
I dont really have much... those concerns being stated, I dont know if the current system is all that good too. The interviews are kinda scattered, and they get hidden all too quickly. I would like to see all these translation work that people put so much effort into rewarded more as it really helps bring the community closer to the players (especially korean ones).
An option could be to have one big thread, and then whenever you translate a new interview, to post a 'dummy' thread to re-direct to your big thread. That will help alert people to the new interview as well as keeping things more 'together', and potentially act as a 'discussion' ground for individual interviews/game series.
I am unsure what TL posting rules for that is, but I think there should be exceptions for things like interviews which are much more directly related to tournaments/discussions. Extra pictures/cheerfuls could potentially be placed in these dummy threads? ... provided that Bisu is in the pictures of course...
