After going through quite a few line-up changes in our StarCraft II division, we here at WesternWolves are proud to announce the addition of the South-Korean Daisy to our pack.
The past few weeks have been filled with both ups and downs for our StarCraft II division. March started out with the departure of Miniraiser, who left because of personal reasons. Shortly after, the announcement of signing Arthur filled our hearts with joy once more. And now, we're back with even better news.
WW SIGNS DAISY
Let's continue with a few words from our Head Manager, Florent Dauvister:
Daisy is the perfect fit in our line-up. The performances he showed at the end of last year were amazing and were barely noticed. He placed in the top13-16 for three MLGs in a row and then managed to finish top5-8 at IEM Katowice at the beginning of the year. To us, those results are definitely the sign the he is starting to bloom as a player and with HotS just being released we hope to provide him with the perfect support for him to reach new heights and achieve his goals. We are very much looking forward to the year 2013 with him.
Upon signing the paperwork, Daisy mentioned he'd like a statement posted as well:
I am truly honoured to join forces with WesternWolves. After leaving my previous team, they actively approached me and showed a lot of interest in signing me. Since I already know both SortOf and Sting, I am certain I will fit in the team very easily. A big thank you to the entire organisation for presenting me with very positive contract terms and the warm welcome.

All from sponsors, we do not spend recklessly, and we have enjoyed extreme growth throughout 2012, please do remember we are not only a SC2 team.
Without the help of Saphire, AMD and especially Mad Catz and their brands Tritton and Cyborg, none of this would be possible

Good stuff. Congrats! And I guess, since he is back in Korea now, he'll be able to play with NSH in GSTL.

WW is getting better every day. good to have another rising european team congrats to both parties!
|
"To us, those results are definitely the sign the he is starting to bloom as a player" I see what they did there...
Really interested in how well he will do. I always liked the guy and thought he had potential, despite never really receiving any top spots. He was fairly consistent, I thought. Now just waiting for Naniwa on WW ^_^
Also, it's always nice to see team managers respond to stuff in threads. Much appreciated!

Nice pick up! Arthur and Daisy both seem to be underrated. WW looking stronger than ever.
|
WW is getting to the point where they can be a threat to any European team on a good day. But they are still one or two steps below the very best teams.
Anyway, gz and gl !

They're getting a lot of players with potential, expecting to hear more of them in future!

So when are you guys going to change your name to Eastern Wolves at the current rate of Korean pick ups.
|
Really strong team now..really balanced! I'm not sure I like it that they have two focal points (the European scene, and the Korean scene), but Tidus seems to be a really good manager, so good luck!
