Omg omg The new Liar Game issues came out the other day, now this. Damn I don't know if I have the time to join ![]() Hmm, when is it estimated the game will start? If it's in this week then I can't /in no matter how much I want to, if it's next week then it will be hard for me to keep up with the game, but at least I can try not to get modkilled. EDIT: lol didn't read the setup yet. lol well there goes my "planning" if I ever join this game. I think I'll just do what they did in the manga and that's it ![]() Wait....how can "extras" win? This is not like the manga where the "last man standing" wins (i.e advances to the next phase), so there's no motivation for any survivors to give more than half their money to extras. If no survivor gives more than half their money to extras, then extras can't win (EDIT: What I mean is that no survivor will give away more than half their chips, so each survivor will be the winner if they are the last man standing, not any extra) Actually medal-sharing seems pointless if nobody will give up more than half their medals. If they do, then they basically forfeited from"winning" (the other guy certainly won't give up those medals, unless there's some uber weird scheme going on) since if they end up as the "last man surviving" they lose, unless they got more than half the medals from someone else, but in which situation would that actually happen? (EDIT: There's also the fact that nobody, not even extras have the motivation to even get few medals, since it's not like real life where the promise of getting 100$ beats "winning" so you'd try to get as many medals as you can. Here, if you don't have the greatest amount of winning chips you lose, so any inferior amount would do them no good. Meh, maybe I'm missing something and this will turn out fine. I guess if you are getting less and less chairs you can give up half of your winning chips...but then you basically lost unless you get the most out of someone else's chips).

The Liar Game manga just got finished 1 month ago with issue 201. + Show Spoiler + It's the 1st season or something I believe? Definitely felt like there would be more manga in a distant future with the way they ended it + Show Spoiler + So the ending was like WTFAWESOMEWHAT in case you guys haven't read it yet + Show Spoiler + It turns out Akiyama and Nao are brother and sister! And Fukunaga was actually a Chinese spy trying to figure out what the LGT Office is, and where they get their money. He came in the finale where he mentioned his masterplan on how to bring the LGT office down and steal their money. Turns out the LGT Office is an experiment created by the Russian Mafia to try and find the most cunning and ruthless person ever to bring to their side. Once that person wins the final game, he gets hired. To have no witnesses, then the mob find and execute every single person that lost the game, or dropped out. They would initially kill everybody that lost the final round right there, and then systematically search those that dropped down to: get back any money they may have made from LGT, and ultimately kill them. Artier is actually the right-hand of the russian mafia, Yuri Karkov and is overseeing all. The most awesome part is when Yokoya won the game with an awesome move (though I think Akiyama lost on purpose since he realized what the LGT office was all about), and as Fukunaga was making his speech to take down the LGT Office Yokoya shot her in the back! Then the LGT officers came with guns and started killing everybody! Nao and Akiyama barely escaped, and only managed to save Fatso and Young Jump. Forelock dropped to his knees and begged Yokoya to spare his life (considering how much he followed him), but Yokoya ended up murdering him too! After escaping, Akiyama and Nao started a race against time to save all the other players that dropped from the game from being executed. Now in season 2 Yokoya will personally lead the executions (as an "initiation" rite) and will want to execute Akiyama and Nao himself! It's gonna be so exciting I can't wait! I think they also hinted that Leronira was actually from the CIA trying to bring the LGT offices down from within, but it was a little vague. Hope that comes up next season So, I think we should celebrate. And by that I mean this game needs to happen.... ...Now
