I see these all the time. Where people put down what classical music they're listening to and suggestions.

So here's one for February.

I'm listening to Vivaldi's Winter (since I have to play it on the viola, anyhow) as well as Shostakovich's Concertino for two pianos. I can't find the music to the concertino anywhere, and I'd really appreciate it if someone could find it for me. Hell, I actually can't find a recording in the US either.

I recommend the Shostakovich though. The glissandos are something.

a torrent isn't necessarily illegal. he could already own the material and need to download it in electronic form. or it might be public domain. this stuff is old, after all.

you would think that a lot of classical music would indeed be public domain.

torrenting isn't illegal anywhere yet as far as i know

i have played violin for 10 years now.

i'm a BIG fan of tchaikovsky

violin:

piano:
any chopin will do cause it's so damn soothing

Fingal's Cave - Mendelssohn (Hebrides Overture) By the way, Mendelssohn wrote this when he was eight years old. Quite impressive. I used to play it, it's fucking hard.
