With so many great Starcraft 2 events taking place next week it could be easy to overlook the action taking place in Copenhagen this weekend. Don’t. Here’s our preview of the Copenhagen Games Starcraft 2 event and the players that we see filling out the top spots.
The doors in Copenhagen will open this Wednesday for the much anticipated CS:GO tournament but you ravenous Starcraft 2 fans will have to wait until Thursday to get your fix. But, if you’re like me at least, you’re going to like it when you do and here’s why. The CPH games may not be touting the biggest names this weekend and it may not have the fabled Korean attendance that events chase like gold dust but I can’t be the only one who's getting tired of that storyline. Seeing 99% of my local heroes (and by local I mean everyone not from South Korea) get smashed at every LAN they attend is becoming hard to bear. The conclusion of those events is rapidly becoming more predictable than the aftermath of eating a box of fiery hot chicken wings and is only slightly more enjoyable for the punters sitting through the experience.
