My name is _________ To give a little background on me, I live in Michigan, USA. I saw the thread on TeamLiquid.net. It's kind of ironic because I was just having this discussion with a buddy of mine that we should try to get an apartment together and start up our own little mini gaming house to practicing for upcoming MLG's and local lans around our area. When I saw the thread I had to email because awesome opportunity's like this don't happen very often. I want to be apart of the gaming house because I feel like this would be a great way for me to practice and play with dedicated, and self motivated driven players who want to be the best as do I. For me Starcraft 2 isn't about the money its about one day making it to a stage of a huge gaming event and looking out at the crowd of people, I could imagine there is no other feeling like it. As for me contributing I am a very nice guy and get along with everyone around me and many other things that I can't think of because questions like this always stump me! As for how much I play, I play as much as I can for the time I got now. Which is generally about an hr or 2 a day. A few months ago I placed in Diamond which was demoted for me because I was Masters previous season and I ended up playing 14 hours that day alone and 6 the next and I got back to masters. So if I can play all day I will is what I'm trying to say, but my father doesn't support it so its hard to play when I live with him. Luckily I get to go to my moms to play for many hours. I started playing Starcraft 2 back in beta phase 2 placing silver and getting Diamond when beta ended. I have played ever since with small breaks because of last year of school and trying to keep grades up because teachers wouldn't understand me failing a test to learn how to beat a 2 base roach all-in! As for my past RTS experience I played Warcraft 3: TFT. I played along side of many great players back then like BoX, arf, Cruncher, YeGGi, LadyLuck(coLRyan). Ryan and I got back a few years and I started Starcraft 2 a little after he did and he helped me tremendously. He is my mentor that has helped me when I get to hard on myself and he always believes that I have the potential to be a really good player and when someone believes in you when you don't at the time it really helps you overcome anything. To end this off I want to say that I am terrible at writing and expressing myself as I would have liked to make a video because is what I would rather do instead. I will link a video that I made to apply for Complexity's Academy last year. I really appreciate the opportunity you guys are giving someone like me to excel in what I love to do!

Hey my name is or EcstatiC/xoxoXTTK on TL/Bnet
respectively. I've been a competitive player since WC3, where I was
one of the top players on US-East and played in team leagues with
players like Axslav, Perfect and MakaPrime (My first clan war was
against his team). In SC2, I took over the management duty for my
team after our previous manager left, and so my playing career was
slightly delayed as I had other duties such as school, but even so I
play SC2 every day. I've reached a Master level a few months ago, but
dropped back to diamond when school got serious, but now I'm back to
top of diamond with 2 seperate accounts (each in the top 3 of their
division) and two days ago I won the Diamond Daily on Playhem. I'm
currently the co-owner and co-head manager of the team Hugs and
Kisses, and as such I spend almost all of my time on SC2 alongside top
master/ gm players, and when I'm not playing, I'm observing their
games and discussing strategies with them. Furthermore, I've worked
as an administrator for several amateur/semi-pro leagues since SC2's
release including the NGP, SGL, SCL, LAGL, ESGL and PTGL.
On top of all that, I've played AAA hockey in the GTA, and as such
I've had high-level competition bred into me. Since I've stopped
playing hockey, SC2 is what fuels my competitive drive, and I pour all
of the energy that I can into it. I've been a member of my CSL team
since the release of SC2, and last year I travelled 14 hours with my
CSL to the Collegiate E-Sports Series in Indianapolis which was run my
MLG and had such casters as Wolf, JP and CatsPyjamas. At that event,
I posted the best 1v1 record for my team as we clinched a spot in the
final bracket.
What I can contribute:
I'm very easy-going and can make friends easily. I'm
anti-confrontational to a fault, so I will not be causing any issues.
Also I'm 6'2" 180lbs and been in a few hockey scraps, so if you need
an 'enforcer' for the group, I can do that too. Currently I'm playing
at least 10 games a day whenever as my obligations allow, and on free
days I'll sometimes go up to 30 games per day. Furthermore, as I
spend a lot of time with super-high-level players on my team, I have a
knowledge of the game above my current rank, which will allow me to
discuss strategies more effectively with other members of the house.
Also I have a working knowledge of x-split and twitch.tv, and although
my current computer can't handle streaming, I'll be able to do such
tasks for the house and assist other members if they need it. I also
have a large number of contacts amongst managers for amateur/semi-pro
level teams, so that may come in handy somehow. (I see there are
members of LgN and Clash in the house, and I am friends with
LgN.Arlock and ClashKatu)
