Parking
The meters do not run on the weekends, but its going to be hard to find a spot. I suggest you guys park in the Maynard Parking Deck, it is the closest to Ops.
Here are some directions. Most will be coming from US-23 so I made a map for that, and one for the parking deck.

+ Show Spoiler +
In game observers:
No observers outside of designated Ann Arbor Open tournament casters. Designated casters/observers IDs will be posted at tournament location by the tournament start. If your opponent tries to have observers, you must stop the game and contact a referee. This means you can leave if he invites his friends or just starts the game. It is your responsibility not to allow it.

● Players must contact each other through Battle.net chat channel “AnnArborOpen” and arrange a host.
● Referees will host/cast the 3rd place game and the finals.
● Winners will report match results to a referee and save replays in case of a dispute.
● If a game's results are disputed (both players report win), Tournament Referees will check replays and determine who advances.
● If a stalemate occurs, contact a referee to confirm. After stalemate confirmation, the game will be voided and re-played on the same map.

Schedule - All times are Eastern Daylight Time (EDT)
● Registration will be from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.
● Players’ meeting will begin at 12:30pm.
● Brackets will go live and games will begin at 1:00pm. The 10 minute forfeit rule below will be in affect at this time.
● Players must contact a referee before breaking. Referees will give you a return time. The 10-minute forfeit rule will be in affect once the time they give you has passed.
○ e.g. Player leaves for lunch at 12:00pm, they should return by 12:10pm. At
12:10pm (10 minutes later), a waiting opponent would contact a referee to begin the 10-minute forfeit countdown. At 12:20pm the missing player forfeits first game. At 12:30pm, the missing player forfeits second game
● Pizza will be brought into Digital Ops at ~5:00pm for supper.
Players must finish the round they are currently in before taking a 30 minute break for dinner. Please contact a referee when you are ready to take your supper break. They will give you a return time.
● Players may leave Digital Ops for lunch and supper and bring outside food into Digital ops if they prefer. Players are not required to purchase food at Digital Ops.
● Games will continue until finished.
Tournament Rules
● Any violation of Tournament Rules may result in game forfeit and future suspension from future Michigan Tournaments and other related events.
● No cheating in any way. This includes any sort of hack or illegal program and receiving messages from friends watching the stream. This also includes account sharing or playing under an ID that you did not register under.
● No coaching even if you cant see the opponent's screen. Respect the fact that the player entered the tournament and therefore should play for himself.
● Players must set status to busy during tournament matches.
● Players must wear headphones while playing matches. This is to ensure players are not influenced by outside sound/chatter.
● Players may not have any stream open in the background when playing.
● In the event opponents are sitting next to each other, a divider will be placed between them.
● Players must arrive within 10 minutes of the end of the previous round. After 10 minutes, waiting player should contact a Referee. After a Referee is contacted, every 10 minutes is a game loss for the player who is not present.
○ e.g. with one player present for 20 minutes, 1-0; 30 minutes, 2-0.
● Players may not change races after registration. This includes changing from Random to a specific race.
● Players may not play in another tournament that conflict with this Tournament play time. Referees may disqualify players that delay the Tournament due to scheduling conflicts.
● Referees may warn and disqualify players for chat violations, including excessive or abusive insults toward players, observers, or referees.
● Players are encouraged, but not required, to remove their headphones if they aren’t in an official tournament game so they can be easily found if needed and hear any announcements.
Maps and Host Rules
● Games will be hosted on one of the approved maps.
● The first game will be played on designated map, and loser picks the next map from the pool.
● Maps cannot be played twice in a series.
● It is the player's responsibility to check the map pool. If a player protests an incorrect map after completing a game on it, the game will not be replayed.
● Map Pool
*Map pool will be current Blizzard Ladder maps, and current GSL maps. Map pool can change according to ladder maps being played on bnet at the time of tourney start.
Current GSL map list:
ESV Cloud Kingdom
Entombed Valley
ESV Ohana
Atlantis Spaceship
Daybreak

(not including current ladder maps)
Disconnects and Lag
● If your opponent is disconnecting, players should take a screenshot of the lag screen and contact a tournament referee.
● If a disconnect happens in the first five (5) minutes and there has been no player opponent contact, game will be replayed on the same map. If, after five (5) minutes have passed, contact a Referee immediately and the Referee will decide how to proceed after reviewing the evidence.
● If a disconnect happens after player-opponent contact, player must contact a Referee immediately. The Referee will make the final decision after reviewing the screenshot and replay.
● In a disconnecting situation, both players can agree to a regame on the same map.
● Referees and Tournament Administrators reserve the right to overturn results or award wins based on evidence they see.
● If there is persistent unplayable lag (lag screen comes up more than once in a short time), players must contact a Referee who will decide how to proceed.
Coverage and Observer Rules
● Digital Ops and designated casters will officially cast both semifinals and the finals.
● No observers are allowed in games other than those designated by Ann Arbor Open referees.
● DigitalOps/AnnArborOpen will designate "approved" observers who will be allowed to observe and broadcast games.
● Ann Arbor Open referees are also allowed to be in game.
● If the host invites a non-approved observer to the game and starts, game does not count.
● If game lags with an approved observer in game, that observer must leave at the request of a player. If an Ann Arbor Open referee is in game, they will make this decision.
● Observers and broadcasters are subject to the same rules for cheating and abuse as players. Ann Arbor Open may suspend observers from future Michigan Lan events if violations occur.
