Dear TeamLiquid.net and StarCraft Community.
I would like to introduce you into new Gaming House project. We are a company that owns E-Sport team and many others, more and less interesting projects like Gaming League etc. but it's not the point of this topic. Our goal is to create Gaming House in one of the biggest Polish cities, Posen or Warsaw.
1. Poznań (Posen)
![[image loading]](http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/c/c4/Pozna%C5%84_Centrum.jpg)
Why Poznań?
Poznań is situated in the center of Poland, it has an airport and great urban communication in there (trams and buses). It's a lot more friendlier for foreigners than other cities in Poland, and to be honest - it's really great and teeming with life. Don't worry, it isn't going to happen in a centre of the city. We know pretty well, that every single working person (in that case it's a gamer) wants to have peacefull place to work, so thats why we have decided to pick a place on quiet and calm peripheries. We have two locations with a very high standard equipment/conditions. We will send you pictures over the mail if you are interested, as I said those two options are very luxury.
2. Warszawa (Warsaw)
![[image loading]](http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_5vHkkGhIRXc/TCStKLWupuI/AAAAAAAACk0/a5lI2iS_Dbc/s1600/warszawa1.jpg)
Why Warsaw?
Warsaw is the capital and largest city of Poland. It is located on the Vistula River, roughly 260 kilometres (160 mi) from the Baltic Sea and 300 kilometres (190 mi) from the Carpathian Mountains.
Warsaw is an Alpha- global city, a major international tourist destination and an important economic hub in Central and Eastern Europe. It is also known as the "phoenix city" because it has survived many wars throughout its bloody history.
In Warsaw, we are in posession of 3 houses with 5 rooms (2 players in each one), and that's going to happen at 350m2 area in every option.
Why Poland?
It's in the center of Europe. In addition to that, products and living cost in Poland are very cheap in comparision to other countries. For example, in KFC for bucket with 30 Hot Wings you have to pay 35,99 PLN which is like 8€, Twister? 9PLN (~2€). Let's go to McDonald's - Hamburger/Cheesburger - 3PLN (0.6€). Communication in town? For bus ticket, which is valid for 60 minutes we have to pay 6PLN (~1,20€). For driving by the whole city with taxi (from airport to house) it will be 40PLN (~9€). For people beyond of Europe borders, there are alot better conditions mainly in a matter of Internet connection.
Why our Gaming House?
We focus on providing high standards for Gamers and Organizations which will be interested in renting their stay. We are providing different "packages" of capabilities and standards. Every single house in actual offer can hold 10 players and manager. We already have a lot of interested people, four of them are from Poland (DieStar, Tarson, Matiz, Rasowy, 4 other interested players are from other countries, one of them is for example Monchi).
What possibilities?
We are very excited on doing this in our homeland. We want this to be something different than standard conception of Gaming House. We will take care of every gamer which will arrive to our country, from his landing in Poland to departing to his home or some tournament located in any place on the World. We are providing sustenance on very good level by partnership restauration (3 meals each day guaranteed), cleaning services, one manager that will take care of Gaming House and people living in. We will help you with all formalities and stuff like that - feel free to ask for help in any case.
What internet services will be provided in Gaming House?
It will be enough to stream your games in HD. Propably 24mbps/4mbps for every PC, but it can change depending on requirments for streaming and some other offers. 24mbps of download and 4mbps of upload are guaranteed.
I have other questions, how I can contact you?
Feel free to contact us at mail: o.staykov@gifuae.com or skype: gaminghousepoland.
Best Regards, O.S.
To the TeamLiquid Staff: We didn't wanted to break the rules in any possible way. If this post break them in any way, we're very sorry. This post have been done for informative purposes and to get feedback of gamers, managers and other persons involved in our Community.

Poland is fucking awesome. Warsaw probably my favorite e-sports city that I've been to thus far.
|
Although I admire your plans and wish the best for you, I think starting up a team house in poland will be hard. Hell, starting up one in America and Korea isn't even easy. I hope you get some top players or else things might fall apart.
|
Great initiative even though your zerg :D. GL Matiz!

What do the houses look like inside if you already own them?

A gaming house will prove useful for those who desire that environment. I'm sure the living conditions will be awesome, and I wish you the best of luck!

gl to you. it seems that the non-koreans houses so far have been lackluser (Arizona, USA and the one in Sweden).
|
Nice concept and idea, I can't wait to see if this works out Depends entirely on the cost though and I have a feeling it'll be quite expensive for the average pro gamer.

Depends how much money you Have.. We have all what you need to build houses. IKEA, Castorama, Obi, Leroy Merlin.. and many many more, computer chairs etc.
Food is much better in restaurants and a lot better than fast food ( cheaper too ). Wodka ( Rotterdam and Mr. Bitter won Żóbrówka yesterday ) is great girls are beautiful.
Internet kinda sux but it depends on localisation, Warsaw and Poznań seams good.

lackluser? you mean lackluster? and if so how do you mean? I think the non korean houses are far superior. they are far far more accommodating for the players, and theres zero reason why they cannot be just as beneficial with the right players/coach and practice regime.

Actually not, the price of living is very cheap in poland, average GM player can usually afford this :>

Dear Community,
I am very happy about your first impressions! It's always great to see so many people wishing us best of luck. It motivates not only me but the whole team to another weeks of hard work.
We do have pictures, but we didn't wanted to spam them so hard. Expect some gallery soon. If you are wondering how it will look like later, I want to assure you we are going to do some crazy stuff with environment effects, to make real StarCraft climate in there!
Best Regards, O.S.

To be fair one the biggest problems with America and Korea (and Western Europe / Scand) in regards to training houses is the price of living, its extremely high. If a gaming house is going to succeed anywhere its going to be east of Poland where living expenses are far lower.

I wish you guys the best of luck! I'm a Polish American, so I'd love to see Poland produce some more top players!

poland is now my favourite country and it if this doesn't cut it then there is "that" something special at summer.
|
Nice, I hope it works out. I wonder who are those six players already signed in.
