Before I buy a mouse I want to do as much research as I can, and one of the biggest things that I wanted to find out is what you guys think is the best mouse for SC2 is or games in general. I have no set my mind on anything, but I would love a mouse that can accommodate my big hands. I am using a razer naga right now but I want to have a back up and eventual replacement once it breaks (A lot of things just break down on me quickly, and for no reason T.T). Money isn't an issue for me but I want the best bang for my buck and don't want anything flashy other than what I need.
Give me some ideas of where to look, Thanks.

EDIT: I palm my mice, if that helps narrow it down

first of all use search option ><

then buy Razer Deathadder/imperator or ss Xai/sensei, depending on how much money u have to spare.

Like it's said on most posts, there isn't a "best mouse".
It depends on a lot of factors.

Personaly I have a palmgrip and really like my "Razer DeathAdder".

It basically comes down to feel and what you're most comfortable with, there's no right answers.

The question OP should be asking is not what mouse should I get but what mouse should I not get. No one can tell you what the best mouse is, but many people can tell you which gaming mice made by razer and ss and logitec etc are shit.
A stupid man's report of what a clever man says can never be accurate, because he unconsciously translates what he hears into something he can understand.

Wow, then might as not buy a mouse at all bro.

If you palm, a Lachesis is quite a good mouse, if you dont lift the godamned thing =.=

The Xai should be able to fit it, a deathadder might not be such a good idea as the mouse seems to slant down at a pretty hard angle.

Dont buy a steel series mouse. They are all horrendous for competitive gaming due to inherent acceleration. Same thing goes for *Most* logitech mice, the only exceptions being the 510 and 518 (but they still have prediction). The Xai has 5% positive acceleration and the kinzu has more. If you're comfortable with acceleration, and comfortable with being inconsistent then by all means buy a xai/kinzu/sensei. Players like Idra use it because of sponsorship (Plus Idra uses a low resolution so he's less effected by acceleration)

For a competetive player, you're going to want to look for a mouse with an avago optical sensor (razer has a few, the deathadder was the first and most notable). Mice like the deathadder and CM storm spawn are currently the top choice for these, and this is why the deathadder was regarded the best mouse on the market, the CM storm spawn is cheap and has the newer line but is absolutely taking much of the competitive cs community by storm (but there is a new avago optical sensor and CM is already making prototypes with a developer kit). Zowie Mico is pretty good also, only if you are a fan of prediction which alternatively the deathadder has firmware updates that allow you to choose whether or not you want prediction, Making it better all around.

Just do not buy a laser sensor for competitive gaming... They are all trash.

Mx518 with the 1600 sensor. Still one of the most accurate mice around is ridiculously cheap and doesnt have any skipping or tracking problems that some lasers have and its built to last.

Deathadder seems to be a good mouse as well but i remember the early models had problems and razer stuff isnt that durable.

As a fellow palm user I have to say the g500 is amazing, honestly I know it isn't what most people think of as a rts mouse but its so good and I love it :D

I personally own a g500 and imperator, both ergonomic and i love them, only reason i dont use my g500 anymore is because i have small hands so with such a big mouse ... so my razer feels a lot better.

If you have some friends who own some of these mouses try them out before buying

deathadder, which is already pretty cheap. If you want a cheaper mouse go with microsoft intelli-mouse 3.0. Use search bar next time

I agree with the mx518. Good price and it's also quite big so it's pretty good if you have big hands.

if you palm and want a razer mouse get a deathadder. Lachesis and imperator are both really really bad imo. I think that zowie mico is the best rts mouse atm but it's only good if you use claw or fingertip grip. If you want a palm grip probably try logitech or a deathadder

the Sensai is pretty but like 1/3 of the function on the mouse you will never ever use.

g9x is a solid mouse, have had it for over 3 years.

death adder is a ergonomic mouse, don't like the feel plus mouse buttons are shaped weirdly.

don't ever get a shitty cyborg R.A.T those are terrible

this kinzu is small and compact I like it for the fact its a minimalist mouse. Same with the xai it only has the 2 extra buttons on the side which is convenient for vent.

mx518 is nice and has a shit ton of positive reviews.

If you gonna get a mouse go with a logitech/steelseries.

If Budget doesn't matter, you should definetely go for the Razer Mamba.
Really accurate, comfortable and high quality as you can see and actually feel while playing.

Aaaaaaand... you can use it wireless without even noticing any difference, really good performance.

Im very satisfied with it and even if you dont use it wireless, still nice to know you COULD! :D

There are several factors to mice selection:

Weight
Buttons
Sensor Performance
Price

For RTS and FPS - you want as little weight as possible. Heavier the mouse is, the slower your reflexes will be.
Buttons: You will want 3.
Sensor Performance: You want no prediction, decent DPI (around 1800. Anything higher is ridiculous)
Price: You want it cheap.

Due to these factors: All Wireless Mice are void. Wireless Mice are almost useless and its battery consumes weight and you have to recharge etc. Getting a $10 mouse bungee is practically as good.
Heavy mice are out. Everything heavier than 80g is too heavy. That leaves Razer Salmosa Asian Edition, Razer Salmosa, Razer Abyssus, ZOWIE MiCO, Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical 1.1A, Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0, Microsoft Intellimouse Optical 1.1A, Logitech G100, Logitech MX518.

That's basically the entire range of good mice right now. Everything else is either too expensive, too heavy or not very good sensor performance.

I had the Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer 3.0 for 5 years. Best understated mouse ever. You don't miss it until it's gone. I've heard that the newer production is of lesser quality though (not sure).
