Flash – “I prepared a counter to carriers early on”
Your chance of advancing to the Round of 8 is high now that you have 2 wins.
We have the playoffs tomorrow but I focused on practicing for today’s game. I felt that I had to win today in order to play well again in the playoffs. I’m glad that I got good results today.
You beat Hydra and even Stork, and are on a good start.
The start of this starleague wasn’t bad. It’s not going to get easy as I keep going up but if I work hard I think there will be a good result.
You easily countered his carriers.
After losing hard to Shuttle’s carriers, I practiced a lot for our game against STX and the strategies and macro that I prepared for helped me a lot.
Is preparation for the playoffs going well?
Our teammates and I are all preparing well. CJ is a strong team but we are a strong team to them also. If we can prepare well, then victory is definitely within our reach.
Is there anyone in CJ that you want to play?
I want to meet one of their three Protoss players or Hydra. I think CJ is strong because of those 4 players. If I can beat one of those 4 players, I think KT will have an easier time winning.
Any last words?
I want to thank all our team Protoss players for helping me practice. I want to thank especially Tempest and Anyppi for helping me out.

Killer – “I want to go to Round of 8 with Jangbi hyung”
You are one step closer to advancing now that you have 2 wins.
I didn’t know I’d get 2 wins like this. Practicing hard like this helped me get good results and I am very satisfied.
You won with a nice hydralisk rush.
After I saw that he had 2 stargates with my overlord, I thought I could win by rushing with hydralisks so I immediately did that.
You won your last game with guardians and this time your hydralisk rush went well too. How have you been preparing?
I had a lot of time to prepare. Our team is now on break but I practiced as I did during Proleague. I was confident that I could win regardless of what Protoss did or what kind of build they used. It went as it did during practice.
Is it difficult to have a practice schedule during vacation?
Every time we had a break I usually rested but now that I have to practice it doesn’t seem that bad. I feel like I am developing since I am practicing while others are resting. I am being positive about it.
You face Calm next; are you confident?
I am confident in ZvZ regardless of who I face. I think I will win.
What are your goals this season?
To go as far as I can. I am going to do my utmost best in each game and my first goal is to reach the Round of 8.
Any last words?
I want to thank Sky, Sonkwon, and Dear for helping me practice even during break. And I am pretty friendly with Jangbi hyung so it is disappointing that I had to face him in an important moment like this one. I won because I got lucky. I will get three wins so I hope he wins his next game so that we can both advance together.

Modesty – “I hope one of us advances to the Round of 8”
Following your advancement into the MSL, this is your first win in the Round of 16 for the OSL.
I am happy that I won my first game but I am not happy as I would be because it was a teamkill.
How did you prepare for your match? It probably wasn’t easy preparing for a teamkill game.
It was a teamkill game and our team was on vacation so I talked with Hyvaa and we both agreed to just forget about practice and play with our fundamental skills.
What is the reason you won today?
My scouting in the beginning was lucky. Build orders and scouting is the important part about ZvZ so even though I made a mistake in the middle of the game I was able to win.
You are known to be good at ZvZ. How did you feel after losing to Jaedong?
There are a lot of people who are good at ZvZ these days. I think my ZvZ skill isn’t very solid. But since I am known to be good at it I am going to practice hard so that I can play better in my ZvZ.
You are producing good records in the individual leagues.
I was really disappointed about our team in this season’s Proleague. I want to show everyone that our team is still alive by doing well here. I think it is really great that Hyuk is playing so well in the individual league right now.
How are you going to rest after today’s game now that it is vacation time?
I have to play Hyuk next week. It’s an important game so I can’t take a break with a content mind. I am going to do all that I can to advance to the Round of 8.
What do you feel about having 4 Zerg players in one group.
It is easier to prepare for but my opponents are all really good players so it is still hard.
Any last words.
I want to thank the fans that always cheer for me. Hyvaa hasn’t still dropped out yet so I hope we can both prepare hard so that at least one of us can advance to the Round of 8.

soO – “I can’t throw away my chances as a Royal Roader”
How did you prepare for your match today?
I practiced for the Proleague finals until 5 o’clock and then I practiced for this afterwards when I had time. I practiced with my teammates after break.
You seem to have won easily against Sea.
I was afraid but then I thought it would be ok after practicing so I was confident to at least beat him.
Did you prepare the guardians in advance?
“Gladiator” seems to be a good map for guardians so I used them.
SKT1 players have been doing well in the individual leagues.
I heard that all our teammates are on winning streaks in the individual leagues. I got anxious about losing my streak. I don’t know if our teammates will continue to go on winning streaks in the next season though.
You are a candidate for a Royal Roader. Do you have the ambition for it?
At first I didn’t really care but I realized that this is something that happens only once so I felt that it was such a waste to disregard it. I will do everything I can to get as close to the title as I can.
Any determinations for your next match against Hiya.
I felt that my game against Sea would be the difficult point. I think I got over my first roadblock well. Hiya is a good player too but I think I can win.
Any last words?
I want to thank all the B-team Terran players and also Fantasy and Ssak for helping me practice. I also want to thank Bisu hyung for buying me a nice coffee in the morning. I learn a lot from Captain Hyuk and seeing him play well is a big help to me.
