Registration for the Last Player Standing SC2 Open #2 is now completed. The tournament will take place from August 6th to August 13th. It was free to enter and open to players from Diamond to Grand Master Level. There were 52 spots open to new participants as well as the top 3 from the LPS SC2 Open #1 receiving buys into the round of 16. The prize pool is:
1st Place - $500 CDN
2nd Place - $200 CDN
3rd Place - $50 CDN + LPS T-Shirt

All the games will be uploaded to the website and the Youtube channel. At this point we are still waiting for confirmation on who will be casting the event and this also may include streaming of some of the games. An annoucement should be made shortly.

We had 1 player drop out of the tournament for scheduling reasons so there is still 1 spot remaining if any players are interested (Diamond to Grand Master Level).

The tournament has now completely filled up and was open to Diamond to Grand Master level players. We may look at bringing back the fully open format to all skill levels so keep an eye on the website.
I also wanted to announce that it has been confirmed that Doa will be doing the round of 8 to the finals again and we are very excited to have him back. As well, for this tournament, we will be working with some amatuer casters for some of the early games. More details on that shortly.

Can you tell me how you will upload to YouTube? I have tried to upload some of my games before after converting (they don't accept the starcraft format games) but i couldn't find anyone to convert, so I got a screen capture device online and watched the replay with it on, but the FPS was too low, and the video was very choppy. So, any solutions? I would also like to commentate, but I can probably just add video over the recording with microsoft movie maker.

Just letting everyone know that the tournament has concluded but the vod's for the round of 8 and on are not up yet as Doa will be casting them throughout the week. Sorry for the delay but there was some scheduling issues with Doa from Korea. All the round of 8 are now up though and the semi-finals will be up shortly along with finals.
