24' Adu nearly misses right, both defenses looking quite spread out, USA definitely getting the better of it

28' Barrera beats Bornstein for speed down the right and gets played through and finishes with ease. USA - 2 MEXICO - 1

32' Donovan receives a yellow for tripping from behind. (a bit questionable if you ask me, looked to be a complete accident but the mexico defender sold it well.)

36' Guardado slides in to win a crossed ball vs Howard from about 6 yards out ball ricochets in the net. USA not happy. Mexican crowd going crazy. USA - 2 MEXICO - 2

40' USA defense looking quite rattled, Bornstein looking terrible, losing Cherundulo early really hurt them and its showing.

42' Rafa Marquez goes out due to injury for Mexico (hamstring). Hector Reynoso goes in.

45' + 2' Mexico finishes the half strong. What a fun first half of soccer! Can't wait to see who ends up making changes in the 2nd half. USA needs to re-adjust their back four.

55' Adu with a good cross to Donovan, Mexican keeper comes out to punch away and goes down for a little bit, hes OK though

58' Adu tackled from behind from about 22 yards out, Adu places the shot nicely in the top right, but a good save by Mexican goalie.

60' Dempsey gets a rebound from 18 yards out and hits it beautifully, hits the crossbar. Mexico still up by 1

70' Dos Santos takes Bocanegra out from behind and antagonizes, things getting quite heated

73' Loose ball in the USA box after a Mexican free kick, Howard cleans it up, scary moment for USA defense.

77' Sloppy clearing by USA defense leads to Dos Santos dribbling away from Howard, brilliant ball control and a world class chip to put it over a USA defenders head. Howard absolutely livid, Mexico ecstatic USA - 2 MEXICO - 4

80' Bradley hits a rebound first time out of the air, absolute bullet of a shot just misses wide, thought USA had a moment of hope there.

84' Castro gets slipped in, hes 1 on 1 with Howard and he misses wide.

87' USA with another close goal, misses just wide right, Dempsey gets a yellow afterwards (O.o)

89' 3 minutes of stoppage time announced, seems like Mexico has all but won it at this point.

90' + 2' USA with another great chance, but its deflected away, Mexican defender got tackled hard in the play.

90' + 3' GG! Mexico wins it 4-2, great game for Mexico, extraordinarily frustrating game for USA, losing Cherundulo early pretty much crippled the back four.
