Sold my old masters SC2 acc (cause of WoW) and I'm using my mates SC2 acc which he hasn't played on since the previous season. Did a placement match and got in Bronze. I've gone like 55-4 and i'm still not getting promoted. I've faced 7 Diamond players (beat them all) and 15 platinum players before that (lost to two of them). Anyone know what could be the problem? Mates win los was kinda bad before season two. But the MMR should be fixed now cause I'm meeting Diamond players, right?

I'd say you just had a huge jump in MMR so it's not going to promote you until your MMR has stabilized.

Although after 60 games, I'd think that it would stabilize...

I'm in a similar boat, getting 10+ win streaks against high ranked Masters players and I'm still in diamond after 100+ games. I'm guessing they only very infrequently create new divisions at this point in time, and we just have to wait for that.

They are not locked this time, it's a bug. It probably started at Jun/10th.

Is the season almost over? Blizzard says the leagues lock in the 2 weeks leading up to the new season.

My partner and I are number 1 gold league 2v2. The past 50 games or so were against plat/diamonds who we have a 70% win rate percent against atleast(check my match history). Atleast in my case, it seems like the only 2 reasons for this lack of promotion are 1. We need to lose a few for our mmr to lvl off since winning so much made the mmr not setle, or 2. It is seemingly bugged and we are having the same problems.

Dunno about right now... but my team was promoted to Masters 2v2 on Friday June 10th... Maybe bug started after or doesn't effect all Leagues?

How much did he play last season? if he had tons of games in bronze with a 50 percent (or less) winrate, then its possible that the sudden spike is confusing the game and the volatility is making it not want to promote you.

The ladders always seem to be "bugged" according to people here, I dunno how true it is this time, although last time it was correct.

It is bugged/locked, there was a service update last night on the EU server. Maybe this has something to do with it? Me and my friend are #1 diamond 2v2 beating top 8 masters consistently. No promotion as of yet.
