Something is up with league changes, but we don't know what specifically is the root cause. Blizzard is aware of the issue and are testing a hotfix. -- Excal_Z 6/15 This does not mean that there is a global ladder lock!! It's been almost 3 months since Season 2 started and Blizz wanted 3 month seasons and said that ladders would lock 2 weeks before the next season. It's exactly 2 weeks until the 29th. If it wasn't for the mod add at the top of the thread I'd place my money on that being a possibility. | ||

There's transparency and accountability for you. They're screwed either way. If they acknowledge it publicly then they invite confusion which lasts long after the issue has been fixed. Tons of people come out of the woodwork weeks after the fix asking "Why am I not promoted yet? Are the leagues still locked?" when they don't understand the skill ranges of each league or how the system works. On the other hand, if they don't say anything, then they get roasted for not admitting to the problem. There's really no reason for them to say anything as long as the problem gets fixed quickly, so as to impact a minimal number of users while minimizing the confusion. | ||
