Although SK Telecom’s DohTaekMyung (BeSt, Bisu, Fantasy) main players are strong, because of Sun and Soo’s solid support from behind as backup members, SK Telecom is staying in 1st place in the 10-11 season. Sun and Soo, who fell into losing streak slumps and didn’t have that many chances to participate, both added their support with 1 win each in the rival match against KT and proved that they are not to be underestimated, as they both have the skill to also become main players. The two players said, “We went to the Winners’ League finals to watch the games there, but next time when we go to Shanghai, we want to go as main players who participate in the finals.”

Q: You both have added your strength to your team at an appropriate time. How do you think you’ll do in the remaining matches?

Q: You’ve both never had the experience of participating as a main player in a finals match before. What kind of role do you want to play on the stage of the finals?

Q: Any last words you want to say?

SK Telecom’s BeSt defeated Flash again and brought his team another win. BeSt, who meets Flash and beats him often, seems like he has finally escaped from his slump, but he is still not satisfied where is at now. BeSt explained that although he has been racking up wins in his strongest matchup PvT, he must improve his PvZ and PvP in order to say that he has truly made a full recovery.
Q: You ended the match with a victory for your team.
A: Our team is in a situation where it’s not settled yet if we’re going to keep our 1st place position or go to the finals, but I’m happy that we won against KT, one of the higher ranking teams. We’ll also defeat the teams following from behind and lock in our 1st place ranking.
Q: Did you find a solution to dealing with

A: I have confidence in PvT lately. I’ve liked PvT originally from the start, so I’m also practicing it a lot. But it seems that my matches have been also going well because of that. [T/N: I like how you dodge a specific answer to the question, BeSt! “I’ll never share my secret on how to beat Flash!”]
Q: When were you sure that you had won during your game?
A: It seemed that I had suffered a lot of damage during the first engagement, but I thought that I was still okay. However when I lost during the second engagement, I thought that I would probably lose the game, but I gathered an army all at once from my Gateways and fought well from there, so I think that’s why I won. [T/N: Dat macro]
Q: It seems that you play more carefully and your play has improved compared to the past. [T/N: In the Fomos version, it says that BeSt seems to use more caster units nowadays such as Arbiters and High Templars, and BeSt doesn’t really seem to like using them all the time]
A: I’ve also played like that sometimes in the past, but I’ve also thought, “Is there a need to always use them?” But even though there’s work to do, I’ve been trying to use them as much as possible in my games.
Q: How much of your condition do you think has been restored?
A: I’ve still only been really able to show my PvT skill. I’d say around 30% of my skill has been restored. I want to show the fans good performances in other matchups too and hear comments that BeSt has resurrected.
Q:

A: I sent

Q: Do you think that your team will be able to go to the finals?
A: I’ve been hoping that CJ loses their games recently, but they show no signs of slowing down and are climbing their way towards the top. We have the most advantageous position to go to the finals, but CJ is making sure that they won’t be unprepared for us. Our final match is against CJ, but we’ll do our best to stay in 1st place and play our matches comfortably until then.
Q: What do you think of the Proleague finals being held in Shanghai?
A: I know that many fans are really disappointed at the finals being held at Shanghai. I also have plenty of sympathy about that. It’s regrettable, but since the Proleague finals are being held overseas for the first time ever as a trial, I ask everyone to try to see it with an open mind and understand the decision. I also think that some form of compensation will be given to the domestic fans in the future. I hope that everyone believes in us and gives us a lot of support. [T/N: BeSt also mentions in the Fomos version that he takes no responsibility if compensation doesn’t come, lmfao.]
Q: Any last words you want to say?
A: My older sister will be leaving for overseas next week and stay there around 3 months. We have a match scheduled on that day, so I don’t think that I’ll be able to meet her. I hope that she stays healthy and enjoys herself there.

"It wasn't that hard, you just have to defeat a lot of Zergs along the way. And I mean a crapload of Zergs."
SK Telecom T1’s Bisu has exceeded Flash’s seemingly impossible to pass most wins in Proleague 57 wins record. Bisu, who defeated Action in the match against KT on the 12th, continued his unique pattern where half of his wins are from PvZ. Bisu let us know his goal of going to the finals held in Shanghai and said, “I’ll practice until it feels almost to the point of death and keep my 1st place regular season position without fail.” [T/N: Uhhh, I think that you’re getting a little obsessed with keeping the most wins king title now, Bisu… Don’t let it get to your head! Bisu: “I’M MAD AT GETTING KNOCKED OUT OF THE INDIVIDUAL LEAGUES THOUGH, SO STFU”]
Q: You’ve achieved the most wins in one season record at 58 wins.
A: It feels great. It feels like an amazing record. I’ve never had such a great record before until now, and to have set such a huge record in Proleague makes me feel proud of myself. It seems that things have been going well for me this season or something like that. Practicing persistently and continuously improving my skill became the motive power in getting more wins.
Q:

A: Seeing that Zergs usually say that they have confidence against Protoss, it seemed that he wanted to meet me again. I also had confidence that I would be able to win against him. I knew that he had come out to snipe a Protoss at the beginning of the game. The main cause of my victory seemed to be because my Corsairs killed many Overlords and slowed down my opponent’s timings. My Dragoons weren’t really attacking that well during the game, and checking over them I saw that I hadn’t pressed the range upgrade button. I didn’t upgrade my ground army and couldn’t really expand, so things went difficultly. However, I did a High Templar drop on

Q: Which is easier to face, a macro-oriented Zerg or an aggressive, more micro-oriented Zerg?
A: It doesn’t really matter. If you just block an aggressive Zerg on the offense’s attacks, then you can be able to win. For macro-oriented Zergs, if things go my way, then it works out. During practice, I think and take into consideration all the possible things a Zerg can do to win, and then I make countermeasures to them. I have confidence against any kind of style. I think that I’m able to be good at PvZ because I played a really large amount of PvZ games ever since I was an amateur.
Q: What kind of thoughts did you have when you saw

A: I think he won because he’s BeSt. BeSt has his own unique PvT style, so it seems that Terrans are having a hard time finding a solution to it.
Q: You’ve been meeting a lot of Zergs on the entry list lately.
A: I don’t know how Coach Park puts together the entry list, but in order to let me win, he makes it so that I’m able to meet a lot of Zergs. On one hand, I’m thankful to him for that. [T/N: In the Fomos version, Bisu also attributes meeting a ton of Zergs due to good luck, and BeSt asks Bisu in disbelief if he seriously thinks it’s because he got lucky. Oh, BeSt~]
Q: Do you see your team continuously staying in 1st place?
A: I think that we’ve still got a long way ahead of us. Out of all the 3 teams competing for 1st place, I thought that CJ would be the most difficult to deal with, but CJ is doing too well recently. We will do our absolute best with the mindset of if we just do well, then things will also go well.
Q: What do you think of the Proleague finals being held in Shanghai?
A: I haven’t forgotten the enthusiasm the Chinese fans showed during the WCG held in China in the past. It would be great if there would be that much enthusiasm as well like that time during the Proleague finals. I feel sorry towards the domestic fans on one hand, but we will do our best to stay in 1st place and get a direct ticket to the finals without fail.
Q: Is there a particular reason why you’re putting out an even better record this Proleague season?
A: I think that something has changed for me at times, but other than that I don’t really see another reason. Perhaps it’s because I’ve had more moments where I found more fun in playing games than last season.
Q: Your next match is against Samsung. They’re a strong Protoss team; what are your thoughts on that?
A: Regardless of what kind of preparation I do, I will absolutely practice a lot. I think that the next match is the last critical point in keeping 1st place. We will do our absolute best to win.
Q: Any last words you want to say?
A: I want to tell the teammates who helped me out with practice that I’m thankful to them.
