Are those the only players eligible for qualifying?

I wonder if IdrA declined the opportunity to play in the qualifiers? I'm sure he would have a good shot to take out all 4 of the potential Americas representatives. Huk and SeleCT could probably do the same.

I don't get it.

Qualifiers from Europe, Morrow and Jinro. That's all, because there's only two from Europe. And then, there's a bigass list with EU players, which has what function precisely? Same goes for Asia.

Yeah it suppose be 5 to 8 people from each server for qualifiers. Dont know why NA got only 4.... Maybe they had Idra... But after showing that video bringing Idra back would be a bit meh.

I tried my best to unde3rstand the system, but I simply wasnt able to.

How many people enter the online qualifier and how many qualify through it for the offline events? It should be 8 non-koreans qualifiers over all, as it is a 16 player tournament and there are 8 koreans in it. But I havent read "8 qualifiers" anywhere.

And when they say "5~8 players from 3 divisions" does it mean 5-8 per division? So 15-24 overall that enter the qualifier?
Someone explain pls!

I think nobody knows for sure yet Redox.
There is some conflicting information. Its stated that there would be 2 players from EU and NA and 1 from Asia and top 8 from GSL. For a totall of 13 players... We are missing 3 since in the rest of the announcement its states that in team league it will be 8 vs 8 and in individual tournament its 16 players.

Yeah it's not the clearest explantion, as we only get 13 players. How do they choose the other 3 foreigners? And Huk should be on the NA side if jinro can go on sweden side since Huk is the best from NA.

The whole qualifying process needs a much clearer explantion.

Morrow is there due to his results I guess.

nvm my previous post.

Now it makes all sense.
Morrow, Jinro and Moonglade are allready in. (3 spots)

Now the rest of the players fight for 2 EU, 2NA , 1 Asia spot

But his results are not better than some of the players who have to go through the online qualifier.

Hmm the format seems a bit confusing tbh. I am still excited to see how our foreigner boys (besides Idra and Jinro) will do vs these beastly Korean players. We already saw that code A dropouts crushed through a lot of the top foreigners, but I really want "us" to give a little bit more resistance.

What do you guys think, will Idra compete in this? If he will, why isn't he seeded in already?
