Division 2 just pulled it out in a really epic 7 game series. They will get to pick the starting map in the finals, and declare there starter after division 1 does. Big thanks to all the participants.

Format

The format we will be using for season 3 of SCL is SIMILAR to what we used this season (Known as winners league). If you are unfamiliar of how are format worked this season...
3.1. A clan war consists of a series of four best of one (Bo1) matches.
3.2. The player winning a match advances, while the player losing a match is eliminated and cannot play again in the running clan war
3.3. The team of the player who lost his match decides which player from their lineup plays next
3.3.1. The team of the player who lost his match then picks the map.
3.4. The maps must be picked from the leagues map pool(see below)
3.4.1. A map cannot be played twice in the same clan war.
3.4.2. The first map set by the league administration is considered to be "neutral", which means that either teams can pick it again.
3.5. Before every match, except the first one, a player from both teams can veto a map from the remaining map pool. The team of the player who won the previous match gets to veto the map first.
3.6. The clan war ends when four (4) players of one clan are eliminated.
There are two things that will be different for next season .
- All maps will be declared by the league before hand. So instead of are weekly recap saying "Starting Map: Lost Temple" It would look something like this...
- Starting Map: Lost Temple
- 2nd Map: Xel'Naga Caverns
- 3rd Map: Delta Quadrant
And so on for the full 7 (Potential) Maps. - Starting Map: Lost Temple
- The Lineup will consist seven (7) players.
What we hope this does

What we are hoping to do with this is complicate manager decisions. With are current format when you have 2 lives left, you have 2 players left there both going, and will play on the map of there liking! This is to simple! With are new format so many different things can happen, not being able to use a zerg on the third map because the 4th map is Steeps of War, he is your carry player so you cant have him die to a terran all in the next map! We might see some new faces because of the expanded line-ups players that might be extremely talented in ONE SPECIFIC match-up can be put on the line-up to kill one protoss. Don't want to drag on with this but you can see the interest this should create.
Tier's

As it has long been noted, for season 3 of SCL, We will be expanding, by adding on an entire brand new league! To do it simply we will likely end up calling it "tier S" and "tier A" simply because that terminology has been around in SC forever. As of now tier A will not have a prize pool, and will hopefully be, were solid teams can verse some great competition to get even better.

Another thing SCL will likely be expanding into is a open qualifier, solo league. We don't have to much information on this but are trying to get a 100-200$ prize for it.

- Match Admins
- Match Admins main job is to make sure SCL's matches run without a hitch, bye the rule book, and of course making sure the Battle Report is up in time.

- Graphics Manager
- As you can see SCL's banners are a bit dated. If you watch GosuGamers stream, you can see there is nothing from us anywhere to be found. We would really like to change this, and need someone with good graphic design skills.

- Writing Team Members
- As you can see from our site, we don't have much content up in the forum of interviews. We would like to change this Ideally we would have a "relatively" small interview after every single match in SCL with the match MVP (Similar to what you see in other Professional sports, when sideline reporters approach players.) And then longer full length interviews up every couple of days.
- Marketing Admin
- To put it simply, we need sponsors (Who doesn't). This person would be in charge of finding us sponsors.

- Tournament Organizers
- SCL would always be open to running tournaments, dont think this one needs much explanation. All I will say is, we really have nobody in this department at the moment so you can be your own boss.
