+ Show Spoiler [Introduction] +

We would like to gladly announce the resurrection of Gosucoaching's "Gold Gamers Weekly" tournament! After about a month of negotiation with Gosucoaching.com, we have worked out a deal; Clan eP will now be running the weekly tournament, but with a slight twist.

For those of you who don't know what Gosucoaching's Gold Gamers was, it was a weekly tournament that began in mid-beta. It was a 64-man event created to let the up-and-coming amateur gamers have a chance to win free coaching from professional players, to help them reach their potential. The original design was for only Gold and under players to participate, but after a unanimous decision we have decided to expand the tournament to allow players Platinum and under, due to a considerable amount of feedback from users.

Here's the new format and details for the Plat Gamers Weekly Tournament:
+ Show Spoiler +

UPDATE!
Players who come in 1st and 2nd place in the finals now get to PICK their coach*! I talked with the owner of Gosucoaching and we negotiated a deal where the winners can actual choose which coach they want their coaching from (within limitations of course)!

Major thanks go out to Gosucoaching for supplying us our prize pool! We would be nowhere without them!

5 Week Format
  • First 4 weeks(denoted as: "PGW Qualifiers") Top 2 players get seeded spots in the "Finals Week"
  • Final Week is an 8-player Double-Elimination Playoff
  • Prizes:
    • 1st Place: 3 hours of coaching from Gosucoaching
    • 2nd Place: 1 hour of coaching from Gosucoaching

More information on this new format can be found here: http://clanep.org/hyperion/showthread.php?t=1441

That's very nice of you Stryfe! I hope this tournament runs very well and everyone has a good time.
Team LiquidUnderneath it all they were really quite nice. They just got screwed up. Mostly by stuff that wasn't entirely their fault.

@Fiend13 Currently it is US only. If there is enough demand for an EU version we will look into it.

@OmniscientSC2 Sorry buddy, no can-do.

way to not list me as one of the casters mike, even though you have me on standby.

Anyway, this is a great tournament and the last few EP tournaments I have played in have been very well run. Would definately recommend it if you aren't busy, should be a good time.
