GMMA Invitational

The GMMA invitational will consist of four groups with six people in each. The group matches will be played round robin style best of 3. The top two from each group will advance to the final tourament. The final tournament will consist of an eight man double elimination bracket. Matches there will be played best of 3 in round 1. Best of 5 in rounds 2 & 3, and best of 7 in the grand finals. Loser brackets will consist of a best of three until the finals. That will be played best of 5 to determine who moves on to the grand finals.

Group match format: The person with the highest ladder ranking at the time will decide if he wants to choose the map for game 1 or 2. His opponent will decide on the next map. If they go 1-1, the players will have to veto maps until they can agree on one.

Bracket format: (Winners) Round 1 will be played the same way as the group matches. Every round after that will use the veto system for map 1. Then the players will proceed with losers choice. (Losers) The first map in every losers bracket match will be Xel'Naga Caverns, because we feel this is the most balanced map. Losers choice will proceed after that.
