oGsVines 2:1 to advance to the Ro32 of GSL Season 3.How do you feel about advancing to Ro32?
Just like the preliminary rounds, I think I was lucky to have advanced. But I know that I’m a capable player so I think I can do well moving on in the tournament.
You GG’ed fast after being Cannon rushed in the first game.
I decided I wouldn’t be able to win that game based on my opponent’s good cannon placement. He brought more Probes than expected so it was very hard to deal with the rush.
Your defensive play in last two games were very impressive.
I like to play defensively. I usually get my defenses up and attack late game with good economy. During game 2 I was able to avoid taking much damage since I was able to predict his army composition after 3 of his Phoenix came out. He killed my Queens and Overlords but I was fine due to having lot of Drones.
Your next opponent is last season’s winner NesTea, what do you think?
I’m nervous obviously. I’m unlucky to be facing such a strong opponent this early (laughs). But I think if I win, I can prove my skills so it’ll be a good experience overall.
How was playing in GomTV studio for the first time?
I played a lot of games on TV so I wasn’t too nervous.
What is your goal for this tournament?
As I said before during the preliminary rounds interview, I want to take things one step at a time. I want to defeat NesTea then set my next goal.
How did you solve your housing problems?
I’m staying at my Korean friend’s house. Coincidentally his house is located in the same building as IM team’s practice house [T/N:
NesTea’s team lol] so I think it’s a great opportunity as I may be able to practice with them.Anything you want to add?
I’d like to thank my fans for supporting me and I will do my best to do well in the tournament. Even if I lose I will put on a great game.
