q. What is this thread for?

a. This is a one stop shop of results, standings and current news and player standings on all previous and current D.C lan event tournaments and meetups held in the Washington D.C metropolitan area.

q. Who's invited to participate in these events and tournaments?

a. Anyone and everyone in the Starcraft and TL community! TL moderators and administration attend on occasion, there's always a mix of competitive and casual TL members in attendance and of course competitive players attend most of our events so there's always a little of something for everyone!

q. Can I attend an event as a spectator?

a. Of course! Events hosted are open to any and every spectator who wishes to come and socialize with other members of the TL and Starcraft community! We encourage everyone to come regardless of age or post count!

q. What constitutes a warning or ban?

a. A warning or ban will be issued when a tournament participant or event attendee breaks rules either issued by TL or DC area tournament officials. DC area officials work with TL moderators and administration in order to keep events clean, fun and successful for all persons attending from both the Starcraft and TL community.

q. If a user is banned on TL is he/she allowed to come and participate at a DC LAN tournament or event?

a. Because DC lan events and tournaments are not run by official TL staff or advertised/paid for by TL being banned from TL does not automatically prohibit one from participating in DC area events or tournaments. The official banned list provided here are specifically prohibited from participation due to misconduct during events and or past tournaments. DC area administration reserves the right to review player eligibility on a case by case basis heeding recommendations by both TL administration and the Starcraft community.

Current rules officials cannot participate in DC area tournaments but at any time can resign from their position and then participate if they wish.
