The Winners League beast who gave Flash a run for his money with his 27-9 record and three all-kills, Light has a problem. No, he doesn't drink excessively, nor does he take an inordinate interest in children. Light's problem is Protoss. No decent man can in the same round all-kill SKT then lose a Bo3 to PerfectMan. That was without a doubt Light's low point this round, and he still hasn't made up for it -- his last games vP were losses against free and Violet on Match Point. Once again, Light is up against a Protoss on the same map. Will Light find a way out of this progaming Groundhog Day?



HSY sez: Light doesn't have a hefty bank account, a shiny expensive car or even good looks, but he's got THREE ALL-KILLS! That's got to count for something ^^

Pure is perhaps the ultimate Protoss: the good looks of a Bisu coupled with the sloppiness of a Jaehoon. The only thing missing is the strategic mind of a BackHo. This misunderstood bonjwa barely scraped through the OSL Ro36 after a sad series against Special. Yet he trounced Calm -- who was admittedly in the grip of his alter ego -- in the Ro16 with a nice sair/reaver and zealot followup. Is this a sign that Pure has finally sexified his play?

Team: STX SouL

Hips don't lie but stats sure do. Calm's last victories vP were against washed out players like Anytime and Much, inconsistent ones like Violet and mediocre ones like SangHo. His recent rematch against Pure ended in embarassing defeat. Now he's up against free, a high caliber toss who has Kwanro and ZerO to practice with, not to mention neo-bonjwa Soulkey. Later on, Calm may have to face Pure once again. Will Calm defeat his own Tyler Durden and whip somes tosses like Zergs are meant to?

Surprisingly enough, even with the boisterous Kwanro and the wicked Zero on his team, free has managed to hold his own during the Winners League, pummeling MBC in the playoffs. That is, until he decided to defuse mines with dragoons for the lulz. These are the trying times that we live in, when the great dragons of the past can still put up an excellent showing, then fall prey to basic mistakes. Has free decided that, in the end, it's funnier to win than to watch your goons pop?
