Just based on general gameplay and achievements, let's have a breakdown. And I want to be an eSport contributor on TL. So here is my first real article of eSports, it might suck. Post your opinions below please!
1) by.FlaSh (of KT Rolster)
![[image loading]](http://www.mymym.com/gfx/Flash_OSL.jpg)
Winner of last year's EVER OSL.
Runner up for last year's Nate MSL
Winner of 2008 XNote GomTV Star Invitational
Runner up of 2008 TG-Intel Classic Season 1
Holy crap lot of awards. There is definitely a high chance of FlaSh winning this year's OSL again. With a close 70% overall winrate, your money is still safe if you bet on him.
However this year, new compeitions may arise...
2) n.Die_Jaedong (of Hwasueng OZ)
![[image loading]](http://www.teamliquid.net/staff/Plexa/Batoo_Final/jaedong.png)

Winner of last year's 2009 Averatec-Intel Classic Special Match
Winner of last year's 2008–09 Batoo OnGameNet Starleague
Winner of 2008 WCG Korea Finals
Winner of 2008 TG-Intel Classic 2008 Season 1
Runner up of 2008 Arena MBCGame StarCraft League
Winner of 2008 GOMTV MBCGame StarCraft League Season 4
Winner of 2007 2007 EVER OnGameNet Starleague
Winner of 2007 2007 Seoul International e-Sports Festival
Runner up of 2007 2007 OnGameNet StarChallenge Season 1
With a heckload of awards (sorry made some cheesy term to avoid cussing on TL) and having a good record of always getting into the RO 4, if your a Jaedong fan there is no reason to be unconfident! With a win rate .1% lower then FlaSh's, who says the Tyrant doesn't have a chance to just destroy everyone in the OSL. 4-0ing Kal (in 2 seperate scenarios, but still 4 times in a row of Jaedong's games) is not an easy task to beat the 56% win rate zerg stomping protoss. As long as he doesn't make minor mistakes like the game VS. EffOrt, he should be fine! If FlaSh just somehow miraculously gets eliminated in another set, Jaedong has a this league in the bag.
3) Sea.Really (of estrO)
![[image loading]](http://wiki.teamliquid.net/starcraft/images/c/ca/ReallyBio.png)
No awards yet? Well this year's might be his first. Catching up to fantasy's performance and from his results of the proleague, if Seiya puts in the extra effort, he has a chance. With incredible TvT as with TvZ, a lot of overconfident players might just crack under his pressure. And there is definitely no reason to take away his not-as-strong but still devastating TvP. Beating last year's OSL runnerup Movie and the famous Jangbi and Kal gives no reason to demote his TvP at any rate. Beating fantasy, Jangbi, firebathero, and ending FlaSh's 22 TvT winstreak is not an easy achievement.
4) Stork[gm] (of KHAN)
![[image loading]](http://www.mymym.com/gfx/stork1MYM.jpg)
Runner up of last year's 2009 WCG Grand Finals
Runner up of last year's 2009 WCG Korea Finals
Winner of 2008 Incruit OnGameNet Starleague
Runner up of 2008 WCG Grand Finals
Runner up of 2008 WCG Korea Finals
Winner of 2008 Blizzard Worldwide Invitational
Runner up of 2008 XNote GOMTV Star Invitational
Runner up of 2008 Bacchus OnGameNet Starleague
Runner up of 2007 EVER OnGameNet Starleague
Winner of 2007 WCG Grand Finals
Runner up of 2007 WCG Korea Finals
Runner up of 2007 GOMTV MBCGame Starleague Season 2
Winner of 2004 CYON OnGameNet Challenge League
Put the highest bi*ch in the heels right here! Stork is known to beat top-tier players with his amazing game management and strategy. Will the silver bird finally win another gold instead of silver medal? Maybe so. He has his work cut out for him, Stork has to cut through the other top players to win this year's OSL.
5) Siz)Kal (of STX Soul)
![[image loading]](http://www.iccup.com/upload/images/news/editor/starcraft1/msl/nate_msl_2009/ro8/nate_msl_ro8_d1_g2.jpg)
Runner up of GomTV MSL Season 4
Sorry for STX and Hyun fans, but Kal doesn't have a high chance of winning the OSL. He might get into the RO 4 though. Personally I think Kal is an overlooked player due to his creative and advanced style, however he doesn't have what it takes to win the OSL this year. I do wish him most of luck!
6) Bisu[Shield] (of SKT)
![[image loading]](http://www.mymym.com/gfx/bisu-msl-win.jpg)
Winner of last year's 2009 WCG Korea Finals
Runner up of last year's 2009 Averatec-Intel Classic Special Match
Winner of last year's 2009 GOMTV Averatec-Intel Classic Season 2
Winner of 2008 ClubDay MBCGame Starleague
Runner up of 2007 GOMTV MBCGame StarLeague Season 3
Winner of 2007 GOMTV MBCGame StarLeague Season 2
Winner of 2006-2007 GOMTV MBCGame StarLeague Season 1
OH MY GOD ITS THE REVOLUTIONIST? If Bisu can get his act back up how it used to be, he CAN do it! He can and he might not, he is still one of the top Protoss players if not best. Most people are saying Protoss aren't doing good now, but then again I wonder how Movie got into last year's OSL Finals (thought hes a PvZ sniper... and all his RO 8 and 4 were Zerg players...) I mean Bisu's win rate is still 64%, meaning he still has what it takes to win an OSL.
7) by.Movie (of CJ Entus)
![[image loading]](http://img.dailygame.co.kr/news/200912/attachments/20091218_906b75ae90ec76731c514b9bebecbf79.jpg)
Runner up of last year's EVER OSL
This is all in his luck, if he can get another lineup of Zerg players as his opponents. Movie's one of the progaming scene's most deadly Zerg snipers since Nal_rA and Bisu. His PvT and PvP are not decimating but not be underestimated either, so if he can play it out correctly ~Just like a Movie~ (personally I'm not a korean and I don't get wtf that is supposed to mean, but since I've seen it on the signs of the OSL finals...) I mean he has some slack cut off considering he's seeded into the RO 16.
8)Nal_rA (of OGN Commentators)
[img]http://www.mymym.com/gfx/nal_ra_large.jpg[img]
Winner of 2004 HanGame OSL
Winner of 2003 Stout MSL
BALLER HERE! The dreamer may dream up anything to win an OSL! Considering he has map hacks while commentating and knows everything his opponent does, what makes you think he can't win?
List of further players that may win the OSL but I dont have great faith in. If I do get enough comments I will make a short paragraph on the player.
