Hey teamliquid, long time no see! Since "quitting" StarCraft ~4 years ago to pursue poker I've struggled to find the love for any game that I once felt for StarCraft, and I've switched back and forth between WoW, Diablo2, StarCraft, random console games etc for the past 2-3 years without being able to stick at one game for any extended period of time.
Right now I'm currently stuck in the WoW phase though, and it may stick for quite some time as I'm enjoying levelling alts a bunch, raiding when possible etc. However the main thing I'm disliking about WoW right now is the community. I know very few people online and every guild I've joined has either been full of assholes or "nice", but terrible players.
Because of this me and lilsusie decided to take it upon ourselves to create our own guild. We named it Team Liquid, with the view that players from this site and Liquid Poker could join the guild and then we could play WoW in a familiar and friendly environment with people of similar interests.
That's where you guys come in. We are on the Horde side on the US-Bloodscalp server and are inviting you guys to come join our guild. Both me and lilsusie are pretty active, logging on for at least a couple of hours every day (Even more in my case me since I play poker for a living whereas she has to work normal hours).
We are certainly up for raiding as much high-end content as possible if enough people are willing to move servers or level up some new characters on this server some time soon, until then though, we are happy to keep pugging away for now as long as we have a bunch of Teamliquiders to surround ourselves with!

hmm i just reinstalled WoW to kill some time. I never really got into the game much because the community inside the game was always more or less snobbish/unfriendly, so I've experienced very little of the end game at all.
currently have free game time, debating whether to sub or not ;x

Me and my girlfriend are planning on playing again when Cataclysm comes out. I would love to play in a TL guild, but how many people are there really? I have had a few characters (lvls 80, 71, 73, 40) but I think we are going to start new characters when the xpac hits

Yah, Midian and I both have level 70 chars on EU servers too, just waiting for the day they will open cross region transfers

Ugh, Team Liquid guild. I've always wanted one of those.
I quit last March, and have had absolutely no desire to go back since then.... why must you do this to me?
And I know what you mean about the community. I originally played on US oceanic servers with some internet friends. The guild I joined was a zerg guild, that eventually had over 500 players (as that was the display cap), but when I first joined, it was a great newbie guild. I leveled quickly to 60, and was active in the guild. I became an officer, and stayed with the guild for a few months. We had talked about doing things, but a lot of the players were really bad, as helpful as they all were. After thinking back and forth, I left the guild and joined a raiding guild.
Probably my best WoW time right here. BC was still over 6 months away, and I had a great deal of fun raiding. I loved the people I was playing with, and still talk to some of them this day. They were all moderately skilled, but drama eventually tore the guild apart. And since leaving that guild, I went back and forth between friendly guilds, with newbies, and guilds that had pretty cool, focused, and skilled players; unfortunately, drama always tore those guilds apart.

tempts me to play again =[
i quit after i levelled a night elf DK to 80 in a week or so, left because i couldn't find a guild i could mix in with. before that i played with my brother on silvermoon, it was a small guild and after a while i got bored with the 'family' feel of raiding.
AND NOW A TEAMLIQUID GUILD =[
edit: adding to that i'm too lazy to pay for an account again when i have no job so i'll need to leech off some poor soul (i did off equinox with my dk haha)

Our population is pretty awesome. It's also 2:1 favor of horde. There are always pugs happening, I've done my VoA, and a bit of ICC 25man via pugs.. just today. Also, if anyone's into achievements, there are many people who do old vanilla raids too, just for kicks. Very active server, when I'm on and it's 3am server time, I'll still find a group to do SOME thing.

Aren't a lot of realms 2:1 horde alliance? Like my server tichondrius is littered with horde. I got ganked so many times when I was a low levels.
But alliance player on tichondrius, don't plan to move around server much.

i know all of ICC 25 and 10 (and older stuff) except the lich king fight, ill level a DK or something to at least help out. Im raiding pretty often so im not sure how long it'll take me to get to 80 so bleh.

I'm definitely interested, but yeah I play with friends on my Alliance server so I dunno if I can get them to make the switch, lol. I'll make an orc lock on your server and join the guild, but I'm not sure how actively I'll play him.

Ohh, you guys are on the same battlegroup as me! I wish I could transfer but I'd feel bad leaving my raid since finding a tank on this server is terrible. I'm definitely going to start an alt there though!

Awww a little to late for me. WoW has gone down hill so quickly that I eventually had to quit. I hope it works out for you guys though

Do any of you guys actively play Arena? My brother is a super glad, and usually sits around 24-2600 rating. I can ask him if he is interested in joining, since he is pretty bored atm.

hmmm, this is actually tempting me to start playing again
I had a lvl 60 priest before BC, really enjoyed doing 5 man instances, but eventually quit when I reached 60 and found out that 40-man raids are just hours of utter boredom and you basically have to throw your life away to be in good guilds.
