Because it was eventually going to happen
2009 was a dark year for the Protoss. The dragons fell, the revolutionist was shamed, and the swarm was looking more powerful than ever. While the Terrans hid behind their little monster, the Protoss had nowhere to hide.
Slowly, they watched their worlds fall into the hands of the both the Empire of Man and the Legions of the Swarm alike. The throne on which the 6 Dragons reigned supreme was gone, with only the Dinosaurs of old standing guard, and even it could not wether the oncoming Typhoon.
The year ended on a bleak note for Aiur, but with the new year came new hope. New powerhouses had begun to emerge from the ranks. The dragons have slowly started to rally back. The glory of yesteryear could be restored.

In the absence of their handsome heroes, KT could only rely on their Terran to get the job done, that is, until Violet came along. Rebuilding from where the kings once ruled, Violet has paved the way for the KT Protoss to become the force the once were. A solid player all around, Violet will be instrumental in the Protoss revival, both as a force on the battlefield and as a mentor to the new KT prospect, Stats. Behind his leadership, KT's Protoss have matched the great Dragons of SKT and Samsung Khan, and are steadily improving.
CJ ain't just for zergs
CJ Entus was never known for their Protoss lineup. Outside of a pylon heart, their residents of Aiur have made very little in the individual leagues. Movie is looking to change all of that. Only the second CJ Protoss to reach the finals of a starleague, Movie easily handled the typhoon that had been terrorizing Aiur. Movie and his Iron Reavers are the only thing standing between the little terran monster and an OSL title.
Kwanro's got nothin on this
Though he fell out of the individual leagues, his dismantlement of the Terran's Ultimate Weapon has shown that he has not lost his touch. Having ended his silver mining streak, Song Byung Goo has proven that he is always a threat to everyone, from the best in the world to a cuddly little Pikachu, he is one of the last remaining Dragons that actually lives up to the title. The Dinotoss has yet to peak, the rest of the world beware.

the REAL ace of STX
Once known as one of the weaker of the 6 major Protosse, when the other Dragons slumped, he improved. When his team needed an ace, he stepped up. And when the new year came in, he greeted it with a team kill and a smile. Kal, once known for his amazing pvz, has evened out to an all around beast. Famous for terrorizing his opponents with his near-death shuttles, he now steers the dying Protoss back to the glory of old. Soon to be facing off with the Tyrant himself, he stands as one of the last great bastions of Protoss power.

The exclusion of Bisu is NOT justified if Violet has been included. Violet qualified for neither leagues. Bisu drilled further in the two leagues than Violet did, albeit slightly. The reason why we are impressed with him is because his performance surpassed our expectation, while Bisu, on the other hand, failed our expectation. Nonetheless, when it comes to actual performance, skill level, etc, Violet has no upper hand over Bisu. Bisu is still regarded as the #1 Toss. #1 Toss on Kespa, and ELO. His performance in round 1 of proleague is still up there. I feel that he should have been included on this list.

Flying is really good because he makes very few mistakes and does all these little tricks that only A-class or above players usually do. However, I feel that he's still in limbo between the A-class players and the others. He has no glaring holes, but he's going to need that "magic".

it's just cooler with the whole "fallen hero" thing that the other two threads have, so I wrote in bisu as the fallen hero, since he's the closest thing protoss has to that. he was their maestro, or emporer. so, like boxer and savior, he got mentioned but did not get his own profile
The reason why the Terran one is 4 is due to obvious illogical inexplicable vulture hating team discriminating bias. We Protoss are better than that.
yeah, but the zergs followed suit with 4, so it kinda became the rule

although bisu didn't make it that far in the individual leagues, he still pulls his weight in proleague
edit: i think bisu has the 2nd highest win % in proleague, with flash being 1st
jangbi isn't doing that bad either but his results in round 1 was abysmal so i understand why he isn't included in the article

If I was the one who wrote it, I would have portrayed the Protoss race as the tragic race without a messiah, caught in the midst of whirl of the malevolent swarm and the fervor of warmongering Terran. But, I am a SKT fan and I would have included Bisu one way or another. So have it your way.
