well ive been off dota for a while but world of warcraft is getting boring and so are all my shooting games.

i had wc3 classic with cd and cdkey but my friend borrowed and never returned it ><. i have it uninstalled right now so im gonna need to buy a copy and then install that and install the chrome dome i got here.

so i will leave it up to you ladies and gents of TL.

dota is something that is fun to play every couple of days, and wc3 is cheap so why not.

dota is pretty active, there are atleast 4 dota games going at any given time and w3 is pretty active in tlwest. one of the people we play with says the koreans are really active in dota too.

DotA to me isn't the game I would set devotion time aside for everyday. But it is a nice saturday/holiday matinee.

Do not buy Warcraft 3 to play a 2 hour boring fest. Seriously. Play starcraft again or stop playing video games all together, both are wise choices.

Problem is, majority of the places sell the pack together. Although it's been awhile since i've purchased a new game, I don't recall stand-alone Reign of chaos for sale. It's all been the WarIII/Frozen Throne packs. I would like just the stand alone as well, seeing as I have two Frozen Throne keys but no Reign of chaos.

Would you care to elaborate on that, please? I only recently started playing DotA (~1 month now, strictly for fun), but I'm getting sick and tired of the leavers and the mass BMs I get in pub / allstars channel games...I was thinking about stopping completely, if my friends wouldn't be playing with me ocassionally...

DotA is fun if you're playing with a group you know. Otherwise, every pub always has some jackass who won't shut up (like this one kid I laned with once who blamed me for everything, including his own mistakes) or people who leave in -ar's because they didn't get the hero they wanted, or people who leave after getting absolutely owned two minutes into the game which then ruins it for everyone else.

I have more fun playing bots. They're better than pub players, they don't complain, and they don't leave. I say play DotA if you have people to play with, otherwise just go back to owning progamers.
