Wasn't there also an issue that MMA's mentor/coach within the team (can't remember the name), went to a KESPA team. Bear in mind that this was the guy that supposedly planned his builds for all of his big tournament performances except for Iron Squid, so without him there's one less thing tying MMA to Slayers? Former SlayerS coach Ryu Won was recruited by Woongjin. I had my thoughts like you on this - why break a winning combo, to me having a great coach is worth every dollar. The last time someone was kicked out and demoted in the house was the Coca incident... so I can understand why everyone is speculating... but some posts are just... weird. Anyway, all this drama negatively affects SlayerS team (as a whole) preparation for their important win or lose GSTL game on Sat... Hope everyone gets their stuff together; otherwise it'll be bad games and a TSL easy win we'll be watching.

HerO so adorable there, he was like saying "Hi" to Eve in his interviews all last season of Code S too haha. Anyway on topic: I doubt it's the IPL 5 thing either. Honestly we're probably making a mountain out of a molehill. MMA's demotion might not be on account of a big incident, it might not even be a proper disciplinary thing. And it's definitely not results. A lot of players in the team house who aren't even in GSL. Totally expecting someone will ask MMA tonight and he'll be like "What? Oh, that? No biggie."

If I had to guess though, I'd say Complexity is a good bet, since Nada just retired. SK gaming could take him, but they have MC who is a team on his own. EG has really deep pockets, so they aren't out of the picture either. Could be anyone though, but if I were a betting man, I'd say one of those three.

If MMA wins today, the interviewer will probably ask him about this incident. So i hope MMA wins. Will MMA show with his SlayerS jersey today since he is still under contract? Or will he be a rebellious son?XDDD One thing is for sure based on the article is MMA is in some sort of pickle situation. " The internal conflicts " must be very heavy if MMA is demoted to B-team since he has been the star player and the face of SlayerS(other being Boxer) although now he is slumping for a while now.

He said that he had left SlayerS already, and then he was asked to join Woongjin as a coach through his connection with ZerO.

Can we just show some respect for the slayers team....they are going through a difficult moment, there is need to be disrespectful... Thanks guys. I agree with you on most levels. However, Slayers making this move is quite outlandish, perhaps to the extent that it is disrespectful to MMA and SC2 fans that they don't give an explanation. Certainly they are creating a big juicy story by being so coy. So on that level, I think the speculation and fun-making is warranted. Obviously, the fish are going to take the bait. Its a tough call, but its an odd situation that Slayers created by not answering the obvious questions.

Look at GSL. There is only half the events this year, than there were last year. Also hardly 50 people come to the GOM studio for free to watch GSL. Thousands of forgeiners pay 20-30$ to watch some 2nd tier players play.

I highly doubt even a dime of the money that is collected as entrance fees to events even comes close to touching a players' pocket so although yes there is more money, I'd be willing to garuntee it doesn't come from that $20-$30. Unless I'm missing some foriegn tournament where the prize money is affected by how many people pay to enter the venue.

The point is there are more tournaments, EASIER tournaments (that is starting to change as tournaments are flooded with code S players looking for the easy win) and more fans/more way to make a name for yourself. Winning GSL is one way to become famous, but many people who make the semi-finals, and often even the finals don't get the recognition they deserve.
