I used to just bash Brock down with a Pidgey, the Geodude dies EZ to Gust and after that spam Sand Attack until Onix can't hit anything and just gogogo

its been ages since i played blue, back then i trained lots of pokemons to lvl100 including caterpie and metapod. caterpie owning the league with tackle solo ~~

btw, to have an easier time to beat brock with charmander, just catch caterpie and evolve it, metapod(lvl7) --> butterfly (lvl10) and then at lvl12 he learn confusion and brock will be piece of cake.
Suggestion for Butterfly name: Tossgirl :D
And then when you come that far to catch Abra! name him Dreamer! Nal_ra ftw!

I had so much fun naming my metapod "My Penis"; you go through the game once it evolves, and the name doesn't change. As you fight with it, you get messages like "My Penis is confused! it hurt itself in its confusion!" and "My Penis fainted!"

Enemy Jynx used "Lovely Kiss" on My Penis! My Penis fell asleep!

Catch Pidgey and Rattata in Section 1, then as soon as possible get Metapod/Nidoran?

The quest has begun!

sAvior began by playing a little SNES.

I miss that system...

Then went on the PC. To my surprise StarCraft wasn't installed. No wonder sAviOr has been having a rough couple seasons. But there was a potion, which is just as good, I guess.

I return to Pallet Town to give the parcel to Oak. Next time (Around 3 o clock PST, I will obtain pokeballs and go catch some Pokemanz.)

And you seriously can catch both Caterpie and Weedle in one version? I'm 99% sure I read something somewhere years back that said that they were uncatchable in their respective versions.
