Great for the american players I guess but the way MLG guys has been snarky about SC2 on twitter and just dropping it completely after it was the game that brought them to new heights leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Their "snarky" comments on twitter usually show up after being harassed constantly about removing SC2 for business reasons. One can sympathize.

Their dota 2 event was great. SC2 will be great too. Have faith.

Adam is still apparently defending that the only reason they couldn't have it for the last Circuit was because of Red Bull being on that same weekend.. Such a shame of a comeback really, telling the crowd about transparency while not holding up on it.

They don't have to "earn" anything, they're running a damn video game tournament that might not even get them the money back. What exactly do you propose they do to "earn it"?

What if you are looking for something that's not there!

I'm not going to spend $100s of thousands to operate an event on the same weekend in the same time zone as someone else. That is bad for us and for Redbull. I can't spin the answer any other way.

I doubt MLG would do this if they didn't expect to make money out of it sadly.

Frankly, I'd say the TL and Reddit communities have done their utmost to burn every bridge they ever cross. If anything, the whole MLG episode has shown a lot of communication issues on their side, and that the SC community deserves almost none of the respect that people feel entitled to.

The last Dota 2 tournament was entertaining though, but that's no surprise. MLG only fucks up their online stuff. The events have always been very watchable.

What I'm saying is that if you had planned to host an event on that date you would have booked it.. Instead there was nothing and Red Bull came in and "saved" it.
