There was talk of the candidate being chosen too quickly, that opposition to the decision was too little. During the final moments of discussion, a switch was nearly made, but none would listen. A consensus had been reached. "No! I am just a Cheesecake!" The dessert shouted. But not even bribes of whipped topping and confectionery sugar could save him from his fate. Promethelax was summarily taken to the assembly line, where a giant mechanized hammer smashed the unfortunate dessert to bits. Mr. Cheesecake, Headmaster of Desserts, walked over to the fatty remains. He stuck a finger deep into them, tasted the residue briefly, and sighed: "This, my children, is no pie."
